About the door not latching, try pulling the inside door handle to the closed position. On my Corvair van, the interior door handle return spring is busted, so the door does not latch unless you close the interior handle.
Thanks for the comment and watching. I tried it, but no luck...and I have the reverse problem with the side door!! I have 5 or 6 weeks before I can start on the van, as I need to finish up the 84 Chevy and hopefully sold!
That sounds pretty neat doing a joint project with a customer . I would have liked to have seen the top of the engine to see if it has the correct FC engine , & the block stamping . The correct engine does add value to the Corvan FC 95 for someone who is interested . Thanks for the video

Once I start the Corvair, we document everything we do and I will go through the engine, transmission, etc. to see what we have....and that will be the first week we start on it. From there, I am hopeful someone reaches out to buy it and we can build it to their spec. I have an 84 Chevy we are building now, and gives an idea of how we go through the process.
