Nice to see father and son bonding in a tough climb. Milo did so well, well done!
Bro.. we are all aware that almost everyone will only show the good side of parenting online. And no one dares to claim that it is an easy journey.
But your parenting is really outstanding at least from what you have shown us online. The interaction between you and your kids can't be faked that easily.
That's why your channel provides not just entertainment but also acts as a mirror for us viewers to remind ourselves to be mindful parents too.
And lastly, well done MILO! You are amazing!
Hello, sorry it took me so long to reply… thank you 🙏🏼 this comment really means so much. Parenting is not an easy journey although it is so, so rewarding. Sometimes we are so focused on the journey we forget the really great wins! So thank you for highlighting and encouraging. 😊 Will pass on your congrats to Milo!
Wow what an inspiring climb. Milo by heart was beating so fast watching when you seemed tired. A joyful outcome seeing you leading the way. Awesome and so proud of you. Jonty, you’ve shared an exceptional experience. Amazing 💜🦋
How brilliant! Milo, a great achievement mate ... good on you!
And guys, I know you are always proud of your kids but some things must make your hearts swell, I'm sure 😊
Thanks for sharing the adventure 🤗
You have parenting skills that need to be bottled! Your encouragement and support of your son is what is missing in this day an age, well done Milo!❤❤🎉
Hello Jonty and wife, I met you and your children yesterday at TEL stage 4 open house at a civil defence first aid booth. Then we took photos together thanks. Btw that day, I was chatting with this lady who did the four life sized MRT give way mascots and she said yeah she met you too. Then she asked me for your channels names. I showed her Jonty Tan and this and she took photos of it. She also asked for your Instagram but I was not familiar and told her it should be in the description
Hi Sean!! It was so nice to meet you. Thank you for saying hello! Yes, our Instagram handles are on our channel description 😊 Have a wonderful weekend!
I have been there like Milo suffering AMS - acute mountain sickness when i was trekking in Nepal. Just a gentle reminder to take one step at a time after you reach 3000m. Well done and Mt KK welcome you back soon 💪💪
Milo may not have scaled to the summit, but that gives him an excuse to go back when he is older and complete it on his own.
No need for an excuse - it’s always there to be enjoyed! Heheh. But yes, he is already talking about going back!
I recall my parents taking me to Nepal when i was 13, climbing one of the mountain pass at 5500m, it was an experience I'll never forget.
Wow! I’m climbing Mt Kinabalu in August too!
@@WONDERLUSTworld No hahaha, we're doing Timpohon trail. I'm Singaporean too and I follow your channel time to time. We're training for the hike at hdb blocks and Bukit Timah & MacRitchie Reservoir. We love your mentality. You're very encouraging and we would love to bring this positivity to the hikers too!
Ah thank you! It’s always best to be encouraging… the alternative is a sad state! Heheh. All the best with your hike, let us know how it goes!

@@WONDERLUSTworldI went to Gastrobeats on last Saturday & last night, did you guys go to Gastrobeats? 😊
Hi Jonty, were in Singapore and wanting to know where we can buy your book. Is it still in bookstores here and if so which ones please
Hello! You can buy it in Kinokuniya or Popular. Alternatively you can buy it on jontytan.com with international postage too!
@@WONDERLUSTworld finally got a copy of your book today at Kinokuniya on Orchard Road. I'd already been to 3 Popular stores and one other Kinokuniya store. I originally ordered it way back in October in Australia only have the distributer tell me after a long wait and a few emails that they couldn't supply it. So I reckon I deserve a cuppa and a good read now. BTW. Well done Milo. Great achievement.
I’m so glad you got it! Do let me know your thoughts! Shame you didn’t manage to get it in Aus - we have heard of a few people getting it there and a library that stocks it too!
an exhilarating journey, very inspiring, a pleasure to watch
Aww thanks so much!
