Endrick has potential but has insane PR, you can tell his social team is trying to make him look like the next Pele with all the pictures that go viral of him. My (Braden) favorite team in Europe has always been Barcelona but I also support Flamengo in Brazil and outside of that, I try to watch as many leagues as possible and just root for the Americans! Let’s hope we can get to a major network like that as some point, it would be a dream come true!

Dear Gus, the US will always be number 1 for me, but ranking the others is a little tough but here we go: 1- USA, obvious, USA all the way 2- Italy, the motherland, where my father’s family is originally from and the place I love to visit the most, it’s where my wife and I spent our honeymoon and we frequently visit. 3- Japan, my mother is Japanese American and lived there for a long time, even tho the immediate connection isn’t big, I did learn the language fluently and am inclined to always root for them. No justifiable reason to place them ahead of Brazil other than I just like them more. 4- Brazil, I was born and raised in Curitiba and I love Parana Clube, family still lives there but I’m more proud of the southern region than the country as a whole. I would be lying if I said I support Brazil with nearly as much passion as any of the others, I’m happy when they win because my wife and family get happy but the nation in itself eh, there are some Brazilian sportsmen I really admire but in general they’ll always come dead last in this little list.

We’ll preface this by saying that expectations are different for some of these players because of the different levels of their national teams, but here are our top 3 out of the players we picked: Yuri: 1. Piero Hincapié: I feel like he’s bound to end up at Madrid at some point and we know what they do 2. Manuel Ugarte: I believe Ugarte will have a solid career but end up as a leader at some club by the age of 28-30 and do something huge. 3. Kendry Páez: Although I don’t think he’ll work at Chelsea, he has the aura to be a cult hero somewhere and the quality to do special things, I see him having a Riquelme- esque career. Honorable mention goes to Jesus Castillo who I believe will captain Peru for many years to come and eventually move to a bigger club in Portugal or a mid table club in Spain, which is massive for a Peruvian Braden: 1. Willian Pacho: He was so good in his first season at Frankfurt and I can see him leading them back to glory like that Europa League title they won a few years back, before moving on to one of the biggest clubs in the world (probably Chelsea since they buy everyone) 2. Lucas Beraldo: His partnership with Marquinhos for club and country has helped him immediately work for PSG and I think he’ll become an incredible player for them, especially since he’s still only 20 3. Johnny Cardoso: The way he’s adjusted to LaLiga with Real Betis makes me think that he’s destined for Barcelona, and despite not getting many opportunities for the USMNT just yet I think he’ll be a locked in starter by 2026 HM: Manfred Ugalde, he won’t be anywhere near as good of a player as the top 3 or even Santi Giménez but I think he could end his career as at least a top 5 scorer in Costa Rica’s history
