The truth is that Nigeria is one African country with best relationship with the northern part of the Africa continent. In addition to their relationship with the northern part of the continent, their religious and ethnic diversity help them to relate and connect well with the rest of the continent. Eldoret Town in Kenya is more developed that Ghana’s whole Capital City. I’m shocked!! We have been lied to all this time!
Props to their ministry of tourism for painting a very ironic picture of Ghana.
I always thought Ghana is very developed than even Nigeria because of all the pr and social media exchanges that was even being propagated by the President to woo African Americans from Hollywood back.
In History we used to read of Ghana and Accra in particular as the gold coast due to their gold reserves, cocoa, oil and their natural resource industry.
What a shame. Ghanians should start questioning their government on where all that money is going to.
Where are the cheap modern apartment complexes I was waiting to see, the paved roads, lush trees, less dust. Heck I was waiting to see a city as magnificent as Cape Town!
What’s sad is Ghanians are defending this mediocrity and fraud by their government to people who are just pointing out the obvious instead of turning that energy to their government to do better for the people.
It is very hard to see or hear any person from Kenya defending or sparing the government and in as much as things are way better here in terms of infrastructure, technology, education, healthcare, life for common people is very hard because of inflation and we say it how it is.
Kibera slum looks better needless to say.

That is were the problem comes in for Ghana. For example, when Wada Maya goes to places in Africa, he meets places better developed, etc than was portrayed to the world. So, he shows the part of Africa that people did not believe existed. He shows positivity as contrary to negativity about places. But Ghana was hyped to the rest of Africa, etc and expectations were higher than reality. That and those CZcams videos you are referring to make Ghanaian authority believe they have done it all and there was nothing to improve, etc.

Jamestown is a bustling, historic maritime town. There have recently been major efforts by the government of Ghana to redevelop certain parts of the beachfront. It has been met with resistance, however. Some of merchants had to be physically removed, and older buildings demolished in order to commence the redevelopment. This is yet another amazing POV video! What happened to Labone, Trasacco, East Legon, Airport, Abelenkpe, Cantonments and the rest?
Lemme guess, they not part of Accra in 2022.
