How to bake and decorate a birthday cake from scratch | Creamy vanilla cake recipe | beginners guide

In this video l, you will be learning how to make the best creamy vanilla cake- it is a very soft, moist and rich cake and it is covered with simple vanilla buttercream frosting/icing.
This vanilla cake recipe is one of the only birthday cake recipes that you’ll be needing. It perfect for both young and adult birthday.
Ingredients
Flour 235g
Cornflour 15g
Eggs 250g
Butter 200g
Vanilla 1tsp
Oil 50g
Sugar 200g
1/4cup buttermilk
1tsp baking powder
Method
1) Cream butter, oil and sugar until light and fluffy.
2) Add the flavour and eggs
3) Alternatively add the dry ingredients with the buttermilk. Add the flour last.
4) Pour into 8” pan and bake in an 180 degree oven for about 30mins or until skewer inserted in the middle comes out clean.
