Isobel Steele is one amazing young actor! She’s portraying this superbly. Then again with a mentor like Danny Miller, it’s no surprise. She’s one to watch!
What tender love Lisa has even after what Liv did. Breaks my heart to see Liv cry and be filled with fear of possible jail time and memories of seeing Aaron in jail. Lisa did right, some times codes need to be broken.
That little interlude at the beginning of this episode sums up exactly why Aaron is in the situation he's in. Liv doesn't go to school on time, talks back to Aaron like he's stupid and just trash, ignores what he says and storms off ... and all with no repercussions. Aaron is a lovely man but ever since Liv came on to the scene he's been weak as water, letting her get away with really obnoxious and insolent/ demeaning behaviour towards him and all the adults in her life. She's never disciplined or brought into line and most of the time he laughs it away as 'she's just a kid', as if all the serious trouble she gets into is normal for kids. No wonder she's turned out to be an alcoholic who's totally out of control.
I totally understand Lisa being upset with Liv but it is bizarre to me that after all these years as a part of the Dingle family she’s only just now decided that she has a problem with their code. It’s also weird to me because her and Liv seemed quite close before this whole mess. Again, I understand her being upset because she almost died and Liv does deserve to face some sort of consequence for her actions because as much as I love Aaron he doesn’t punish her and therefore she never learns but I do think getting her sent to prison is way too harsh. Like yes Lisa almost died but Liv made a mistake and she’s incredibly remorseful so I’m just not 100% sure why Lisa has decided to be so harsh on Liv, especially when every other Dingle has committed a crime before.

Give her time. We all at that age have done dumb things, not poisoning, but nevertheless, its how we learn responsibility and growth.
