Update clon jlink

In this video I show how to update (also unlock) the jlink (clone) to work with the latest official jlink firmware version (at this time 6.14a).

There is an error, the ERASE pin must be closed with the USB cable connected.
The following steps have been followed:
1 - Connect Jlink to USB.
2 - Bridge ERASE. Wait 15 seconds.
3 - Remove ERASE bridge.
4 - Remove USB port.
5 - Put bridge TST.
6 - Connect Jlink to USB. Wait 15 seconds.
7 - Remove TST bridge.
8 - Remove USB.

To whom it may concern: remember to run SAM-BA as an administrator to ensure proper functioning. I was getting the error "could not connect to at91sam7s64". After starting it as an administrator, the problem was solved.

Doesn't work anymore as the latest keil will install jlink ver 6.16c onto the jlink debugger.... thus rendering it useless again... need new firmware with new serial number...

True, in Atmel studio you can still program by opening the control panel before hitting Run otherwise it gives "SWD error" and defective Jtag... I just bought the EDU version.

Tienes toda la razón las nuevas versiones de jlink 6.16c ya no son compatibles con el jlink clone. Si encuentro un firmware válido lo haré saber. De momento estoy utilizando la versión EDU de jlink.

Actually I made it work with the firmware found on the internet with "-1" S/N and a very nice "hack".
You take any ST DIscovery board and convert it into J-Link (for free on their website). Get it's serial number,
then use the J-link console to set the clone's S/n to that. Poof working jlink.
Don't forget to modify the binary string inside the bin file by erasing the "Full" and replacing with spaces.

I have tried and can effectively continue using the Jlink with new versions of Keil using an ST link (for example that of a Nucleo card or discovery). The steps I have followed:
1 - The ST link has turned it into Jlink. www.segger.com/products/debug-probes/j-link/models/other-j-links/st-link-on-board/
2 - I copied the S / N by executing the J link commander. (9 digits).
3 - I have edited the .bin of V8_Firmware_NoSerial_ (crackn). I have changed the string "GDBFull" by GDB + 4 blank spaces.

4 - I have programmed the firmware of 3) following the indicated steps.
5 - I have changed the S / N with J link commander, using the command: "Exec SetSN = xxxxxxxxx"

Yes exactly the steps I did just not a nucleo don't have one of those. But CUDOS on the excelent step description for others, you got my steps cause you know what I'm talking about but others may not.
