I’ve found that the core values have changed to finding sets that can do everything for you as opposed to finding and grinding gear that suits ur playstyle
That post by zos, made it very clear. This game isn't made for players like yourself and its community. It's made for those who are capable, don't have the time to get to upper tier or have no desire too. This has always been the intent. The couple of years where it exceeded that we're unintentional. We either just except it or play eso till something else comes out or we just move on. They're making it clear that they don't care which of those options we take
ZOS should put the guy or gal that fixed the mail lag on the PVP team and give them a raise. I think he/she might know something. Lol

even ff14 also ditching resource point regeneration nerfing, zos keep ping pong nerfing mana stam then buff again then nerf again when players get fluid recovery rotation really exausting.

Agreed. They are playing with fire changing the best part of their game. This is telling us how they want to change things, not asking for opinions. That is pure arrogance. Why did they put this out? Lol. Definitely not a social person.
Try pay the way you want. Veteran players don't need to buy pay2win classes or race, pay2win mythics, pay2win jewelry crafting or pay2win Psijic.
The “deep dive” is more like explaining eso to someone who has never played it
Play how you want has failed and ESO needs a new dev team. The only people defending ZoS are the solo questers and they are being from what I seem very toxic about it with “don’t like it don’t play” and “the game was made for us not pve and pvp” and my favorite “it’s a elder scrolls game first and a mmo second”.
Back in the day in 2016 to 2018 you could wear heavy armour damage set and another damage set as you just destroy everyone. Heavy armour was the way to go back in the day while medium struggled to have any impact while nerfing the resistance by doing that, and light armor was only good on bombers back in the day cause you were a walking two tap one tap in light armor back in the day. Under CP toons with lowbie buff was actually over performing by a lot until ZOS gave every toon that went to CP 1K base damage on tooltip to correct the balance of lowbie buff vs CP toons. The only thing you can say that was balanced back in the day was defiles were strong and helpful while those who speak about game balance would agree application of anti healing defiles is a form of pvp balance not just saying hey if I build damage I should be able to kill ANYTHING, and those who can tank and do damage shouldn't be able to kill. If you die to someone to 5k to 6k weapon spell damage one v one then that just means the game is fair or skill issue the amount of fail safe is there which makes it an interactive fun game you speak of, but makes stalemate a thing. Joke of an idea that should be the way to "balance" ESO to make building full damage the only way to destroy everyone so build variety will never be a thing, cause it'll just be a first patch dark convergence plaque break release day.
Deep Dive? More like a dive head first into a drained pool...
