So, when rips announced roether was gonna main homelander and i saw his homelander vs anti homelander i was like ehhhh idk roether, even his quan i was like eh its cool, but seeing him perform on the tourney i am absolutely eating my words i am completely dumbfounded by his growth and fluidity with a character generally seen as unpolished!!! Amazing skill roether
Top32 lets goooo. Fabbz accompanies us in tournaments as always and he is great at that. Match1: Well i half expected for Moody to win this, but that was steamroll if i ever saw one. R1ps says people are here to win so we will see lame gameplay....well lets see about that. Match2: Yuvility is a guy who i think is stronger than his rank represents somehow. His uber solid gameplan after the first loss drove him all the way to victory even against a peacemaker switch....that felt cathartic well done yuvi. Match3: And here is were R1ps statement falls. Prepare for epic sweet homelander gameplay. Disarted uses the standard meta but gets steamrolled by the now mastered Roethor homelander. He hasnt read the bible as hard as he read disarted. Be it at a distance or up close Roethor is magic with homelander and nets a super dominant win. Match4: Evil carnage is another guy whom i consider strongest than his rank shows. But that Johny was too consisted punishes where on point, no dropped combos and reads where immaculate. It was formulaic and not very sexy match but it got the job done. Match5: Here is more juice stuff. Dlow the hottest Nitara vs Hazim the hottest peacemaker. This was high octane. Hazim did put up a fight but Dlow is just in another dimension right now with this Nitara. Here's to hoping he gets to top 8. Match6: Ok schoolman doesnt even bring Ashrah here we got ermac mirror and lao how much better can this get? Hodie of course after all this time has become a master of Ermac doing all the sexy stuff, plus i think Ermac is slept upon just because of how hard he is to play and master. Hodie takes a definitive lead here in a crazy showcase. Match7: Sossed one my favorite players vs one of my favorite character combos....this is tough for me. Even more beastly gameplay Sossed doing the great reads and Rinzler pulling the ddt outa nowhere combos, both playing strongly but with Sossed having victory elude him always at the end. It was sad seeing him losing but i am glad i got to see such a strong Reiko/Tremor game.
Rips. Is it at all possible to post the rest of the tournament before the final kombat day? I know it's lots of editing but it would be huge to not have to miss any final kombat to watch the top 8
