I am partly paralyzed and use a power chair and hospital bed. I used to work in Parks across Canada. I need a van/trailer that can meet our needs. I have to find or afford one. These 10 look like fun.
Mine has a 5 person hot tub. Would like to have it on your channel.i built it myself.
The French one is beautiful and more affordable.

the manufacturers think we all have a money tree at home? I went beach camping 2 weeks ago, saw so many luxury RVs. In my 3 nights camping, I only saw my big RV neighbor only once in the morning. At night I can see his big screen tv from outside when it lit up. Another old couple with their fancy trailer seems to be sitting in the same chair outdoor, same positions for the entire morning. I'm the only pop up tent for 2 in the entire camp site :) I just enjoy the beach & sunset
I loved number 1 but would likely go for number 6 realistically. Very much enjoyed the tour of them all. Thanks!

Number one is really the king of campervans, like a walking double story bungalow, really comfortable being in it, can't say anything else anyway

#3 is more practical for me plus I can take me full tour motorcycle. #2 is an amazing choice for true outdoors ventures. And #1 after I hit the Mega million and replace the motor with a beefier engine!

The one from Le Mans, France was absolutely stunning. I can hardly believe it was only $33,000, especially when compared to a lot of the others here which I found to be quite overpriced. I certainly wouldn’t sell my house to buy some of these, but I could afford that French one right now, no house sale required! I really liked the design on that one. So elegant. I would feel like I was living in a space pod if I was in that one.
Got excited when I saw it so I haven’t finished the video yet, lol; I may comment more later. But, for now, the French design is my favorite.

Wonderful campers. To be honest I at times wish that US manufacturers would take hints from the designs on these euro/eastern campers. Amazing style it shows that how the inside feels is just as important as how it works.
They're still stuck in 1990. That's the problem. Look at the interiors of some of them such as Winnebago or another big brand. They look tired and old. That's why I would buy a European brand that is legal to import.

@@scootanow85 So you prefer the US designs? I can appreciate that, perhaps it's a preference thing. It would be interesting to see some US manufacturers put out some more Euro designs though. No reason to not have both.
European vehicles are way more fuel efficient and agile, but until some years ago the best truck design made for European market came from an American brand with the great Ford Transit (up to the MK8, the Custom being way less interesting for a conversion).
When it comes to interior designs, US vans are more into putting a house on wheels, and Europeans about furnishing a camper like a boat. I tend to feel the last philosophy being better suited for a conversion, but converted vans are not houses nor boats. Best results are not produced by any major brand but by people going DIY, and these people got great ideas no matter if they come from Europe or USA. Best companies are small ones designing their interiors based on greatest ideas coming from DIY.
@@temjiu9915 You’re right, this designs looks really fancy. But we don’t know how reliable is it. US factories are more conservative in terms of creativity. However, the value durability rather than creativity. I saw some independence factories got versatile and durable overland camper van. They manifest their creativity as well as good repetition. That is why these factories in the United States able keep business going.

It doesn’t matter how impressive they are, once you owned it, soon you will deal with mechanical problems… fancy design would useless.

Love the vans, I am going to build my own when I find a longer, higher roof Transit van. Won't be so posh, but cheaper. That last one is a land yacht, nice, with an elevator.
You might want to check out box vans to maximize the interior. I am looking for one.

Wondering how you could have a tiny house roof rise and give more loft space. Some good ideas here. Maybe big kitchens will become a 2000 thing, since so few people actually cook sit down meals anymore. BBQ, take out and sit-in seem to be growing in popularity.

Hello...I have only been online a few months...just discovered your channel and have subscribed...love your title as indeed design is sparked and takes form in the mind...though I am not generally a fan of ultra-modern/space-age design...I think Darc Mono is superb...the fact that it is built with recycled carbon fibre based on Formula 1 technology would surely have to be unique in the camper van world...very rugged and light weight built to be taken off road...only 4 cylinders so would be fuel efficient...and the interior is beautifully simple, spacious and chic...like stepping into an art gallery...a room with a view...not at all claustrophobic...even the storage seems to disappear...all the elements work together and nothing jars...this is the essence of good design...
...love the artwork on the Nissan...the French camping car by La Mancelle is a beautiful retro design...but the Holzmobil just grabs me for its timber construction...like being inside a moving timber cabin...my favourite as I have long admired old timber train carriages, cars and Nordic timber interiors...as it is warm and comforting in winter...of course my ideal home-away-from-home would be a composite of many ideas into one cohesive whole...I will watch more of your presentations with glee and thanks...

I agree with the first place, but the 2nd, 3rd lime remains below all, but most of all the 6th. The 2nd is the standard, long-known version, and the 3rd is custom built from the rear of an on-demand car.

Something like number #1 has been on my mind forever. But it would be quite heavy, offer a lot of area to the wind and every crack needs to be sealed very well unless you want a nightmare. They also have to save weight and space on the inside to make the transformation possible. Ultra light materials and good optimization are essential.

I can't believe how much a camper cost these day's that first camper was nice, but it shouldn't cost no where near 72k U.S that's just insane. I bet they don't have more than 10k in it.
Agree these were exceptionally small and severely overpriced, trailer ones in the US are much more reasonable

Perhaps the price has include all kind of options.
I think that price is for the Saic Maxis V90 van, not the entire camper, but with current exchange rates, 2.68 million Yuan is under $380k USD
