ahhh i'm so excited. i mean i've been excited since they started teasing all the MVs! i feel like her voice has improved a lot compared to when she first started her solo singing journey; she must be getting more comfortable with it. and honestly almost every song in this album having an MV?! god we're spoiled! love you always keiko, so excited for this. ❤
I'm actually excited that she's mixing her highs and lows now! The first album felt like Keiko was stretching a bit too much to compete with other singers, but she didn't need that. Her voice is so multidimensional especially the warm lower parts, and this album has so much more color. ❤️

Call me old-fashioned, but I still want to hear Keiko at her deepest, like her greatest highlights in Kalafina and FJ. Yeah, I understand that starting a solo career she’s gotta experiment, try difference songs, range, sound etc., but the thing is, when she does something usual/generic, she is just a competent vocalist, 1 of the many. But when she does her trademark, she is truly unique and phenomenal!
Agreed!!! Take Sakura wo Goran for instance, it's a good song but sound too generic with that singing style... With Keiko's full, ressonant voice that would sound awesome... And probably make her stand out, be more remarcable in the music industry as a solo artist. But I think for some songs the new style may work, such as Hachigatsu no Sora

Better composition and arrangement especially with the newer songs. A much more mature presentation, including visually (different hair styles, environments, colors in the videos) Keiko’s strength (and consistency) in my opinion, is in singing smooth legato lines in her mid-to-lower range with long end notes. That’s where her voice really shines with resonance! Only infrequent, well-considered (strategic) jumps to higher pitches sometimes but with a flow that brings her back down safely. The true test (for me) will be singing these songs live, one after the other, during concerts, whether virtual or with an audience. I really hope she’s working with a vocal coach to keep her voice always in shape and to tighten her technique for consistency, agility and efficiency, especially for the movements up and down her range during live singing .
So far, Burn in the Wind has the more impact on me. But still to early to decide. Cant wait to hear the full versions. We are just counting hours as of the moment.

After listening the full thing I can say that Keiko finally found songs that suit the new singing style she's going for, she's expressive in each of them and the whole production is very well done! Dew is much better than Lantana, for sure! My favorite is Nobody Knows You, no other song on the album creates atmosphere and impact as this one, not to mention Keiko rocks when singing it live! Toori Ame is another gem, reminds me of X Japan and the cello is a great feature, it compliments Keiko's voice beautifully and hope it's used in more songs from now on! Kimi Ga Nemuru Kara is coming right after this with the beautiful strings, and while the focus in this one aren't the vocals, the music itself is just too beautiful. Latte is the biggest surprise for me, I actually love it and think this would do very well on radio, streaming etc if they decided to promote it. Hachigatsu no Sora is Keiko's composition and sounds lovely, very warm and cozy type of song! Waratte Yaru is a lot of fun, groovy and rock-ish, very cool sound, I just hope that Keiko will find a way to sing this one live without shouting... As for the other songs, they don't do much for me... Lost is a good song and kinda Kajiura-esque but seems to be lacking something; Revolution is a bit R&B in the beginning and quite promissing at first but then falls on the most boring types of ballads ever, although the vocals are awesome; in Sakura wo Goran it's the opposite, the singing style is what makes this one sucks for me, sorry; Michite Wa Kakeru suffers from the same as Change the World Colors in Lantana, great vocals and potential rock tune but misplaced synths just make it anisong-ish and annoying; as for the remaining songs, they're a bit old school and aren't bad at all, the vocals are also great, it's just the type of music that's kinda meh to me. Overall, it's a nice album, you can see and hear how much effort they put into this one! Good job, Keiko!
