keep in mind this is why Davy Jones was after Jack to begin with. He raised the Black Pearl from the depths so that Jack can be CAPTAIN Jack Sparrow for 13 years

I have seen a fair few resin models but the fact you carve the waves as opposed to adding something like paste/glue or more resin makes the water that much more realistic. Can't say I have seen this done in any of the videos I have seen so hats off to you.
Your ability to Dremel into resin and create waves never ceases to amaze ne! Wonderful job! Captain Jack would be proud, also drunk and confused, but very proud!

Love the surface water technique. I tried resin waves on a HMS Victory it fell short of my expectations. I did not consider carving back into it. -Beautiful job-superb craftmanship! Bravo!

when you use the dremel/grinder to carve waves in the surface, how are you making it clear? doesnt the grinder scratch up the resin so its not clear anymore?

I like to think that this Pearl went down after an epic battle with the Flying Dutchman and Jack and his crew were sent to the locker to try and escape while the Pearl is sent to the bottom of the crushing Blue☠️💧
