Nothing like some good ole fashioned shoe-leather for dinner. Sear it, finish in oven, take out and let rest BEFORE slicing and serving. Love the challenge though.

I really enjoy this style vids. Good mix up to everything else. Using some unique meats and turning them into some nice finished products. I'm calling a couples match next! Make each couple submit a meal they will make, then before they go shopping, switch them!

The bottom line is the episode was somewhat humorous....None of them really have a clue how to cook (maybe John slightly and Rackley when you're talking about frying fish) but, they get people to watch and click on their videos which puts more money in their pocket.... they've got the CZcams thing figure it out!....

I would use the broiler in the oven to brown the marshmallows on the sweet potatoes. Sauté the asparagus in a pan with mushrooms in unsalted butter. One of my friends made simple soup with elk roast for feast day in NM. Marinated the elk in teriyaki sauce, to ease some of the gaminess. After an hour or so, simmered in water. Then added potatoes and canned yellow corn. Simple but good. Or maybe cook thin strips of elk over a charcoal fire. Wood charcoal, not briquettes.
Maybe a cook off with or against random subscribers when the team visits an area. Just an idea.

Always under cook your steak if you know it’s going to be a little bit till you serve it and the other problem with flairs steak is you didn’t let it rest to gather the juice back prior to slicing
