I love when the NBA has thinking basketball content. 10/10
Can you explain to me why the guy in the first clip moved away instead of defending against LeBron? I don't know anything about basketball
@@nadermilite5652some guys just don’t like getting contact. Especially lebron coming down mid sprint
@@nadermilite5652 Maybe because it's hopeless, might become an and-one opportunity for bron
Lebron always drives shoulder down through people and gets calls for it. Not worth the risk and pain.
Victor making two absolutely insane blocks in a row just for the Hawks to wind up with an open threes sums up his entire season so far.
more like the spurs’ struggles as a team this season, he’s been doing great
@@brendanw.3761that's literally what he was saying, are you stupid?
@@brendanw.3761 thats exactly what he means
@@brendanw.3761Ikr Victor Oladipo needs better teammates😞
NBA should hire Thinking Basketball for more content like this, we love this kind of stuff.
Please keep doing collabs with Thinking basketball. I learn so much from his content.
The NBA needs to put out more breakdowns like this. Thinking Basketball's content is 10/10
Oh snap Thinking Basketball made it to the NBA page!!! This is awesome
I think videos like this are a great way to look at what appear to be, on the surface level, simple plays or stupid plays on one side, but actually incredibly smart plays on the other side. That last clip is a great example. At full speed, no context with Gobert, it would be pretty easy to just see that and think, "Man what is Kawhi doing there? Bad shot selection." but the reality is that under most circumstances (as shown prior) that was working for them. It was only when Gobert decided to use that to his advantage that the play happens. This way of seeing the game makes it so fun to watch.
Thank you for growing my understanding of the game Ben Taylor . Your work is a gift to the basketball community. ❤
Nice one as always Ben! Rename it to “Smartest plays of the season but they get increasingly high IQ” and it’ll get 10x the views
3:22 LMFAO that was hilarious. 😅😂
Steph's one of a kind, true genius. 😂😂
Best off-ball player ever
He used both Looney AND Wiggins as oblivious screeners
Wiggins was intentionally screening lol
Love the focus on defensive plays
PLEASE more of this, Thinking Basketball has top tier content
Wow thinking basketball made it!!!
I love thinking basketball and the analyzing they do in the videos
THINKING BASKETBALL ON THE NBA CHANNEL!! LFG THIS IS AMAZING!!!
Love this content. Need more of this!
great vid would love more content like this
Love thinking basketball!
More thinking basketball content!!
Wemby also had an off the glass pass to himself against the Bucks that deserves mentioning… I mean he did that after dribbling past Giannis
Whole video should be Vic
The NBA putting Ben Taylor's content up is one of the best moves we've seen recently, and a great testament to the man's talent. This is what's great with the internet nowadays: you can put out good stuff, and people will find you 🔥
Loved this video. Derrick White needs to be in the next one.
Thinking basketball linked up with NBA..... Impressive
My iq just went up 100 points from watching this 😂
Thinking basketball has made it‼️
Great content!
I just finished listening to your podcast on best passers
more thinking basketball pls
very good., a few from Alpi, the Wizard, would be very entertaining for those who doesn't watch Rockets basketball
my boy really has made it
You ABSOLUTELY need to include Ben more in your videos.
The NBA giving a basketball influencer some love, really cool to see
As always, this vid is amazing. Thank you.
Ever considered playing each play once in normal speed before breaking it down?
Would be time consuming, but imo would make for an even better watch
Thinking basketball is the greatest thing about the NBA
Some nice moments, some less nice moments. A mix for every fan, I guess.
Great basketball 👍
1:23 is exactly why Jalen Green is still a sorry player. He’s more concerned with how he looks than winning games. He had clear position first and could’ve gotten a nice charge call, but instead gets scared of a little pain at the end of a game or being put on a poster and just leaves the lane open.
its channels like this one that gives me so much hope for the future of basketball..... so much knowledge for young minds to learn from. That being said as someone outside of the Jordan era I hope young players (mostly dumb casuals) appreciate and respect the Greats who didnt have this before them and stop trying to compare "now" and "then" different era's different opportunities
the self alley hoot from Wemby was more impressive.
I remember the first ASG i ever watched live, Tmac did the alley oop with the backboard and the world was never the same to me. I had done that on my mobile hoop but ... Whaaat?!😅
Loved the part about shot blockers
Watch 6 nba picks in 2 minutes 1/24/24
I want to add my voice to the chorus, please keep bringing Ben Taylor on!!!
Whatever Wemby does, it's a cheat code, he is extremely long and agile. It is simply not fair, and he has the iq and awareness too. Him making these kinds of play is similar to a small guard making incredible plays. We have witnessed several giants in the league but none like Wemby. Hope he and Chet can have an injury free career.
Whoever made the title didn’t think
What a good idea! Thanks for showing you care about the basketball purists out here, NBA! Now lets just stop having the top 10 vids cut out randomly.
4:06 would that be considered as a missed fg?
6:36 Sure that was nice. But what about that overhead alley-oop from way downtown to Payton in that same game, which he finishes with a reverse dunk!?
It's smartest plays. Not coolest
@@HotCrossJuns agree
@@HotCrossJuns let's agree to disagree, I'd still say that alley-oop was much smarter. 🙂
Sengun got caught flopping in 4k. Lol.
Sengun is a certified flopper. Hands in the air looking towards the ref after every single play
NBA page? damn
Hi Lebron!
I had a dream i was playing on the Warriors basketball court with my family lol
W video for real
Give back rights to defence
Am I crazy or does Antman look and feel alot like Jordan? Similar body type, earily similar movements playing with hands down and bent knees almost cat crawling everywhere.
Dont mind me, just commenting for the almighty Algorithm
Wemby is just too tall
Second
We know LeBron is drawing the plays for lakers
Bron did that wemby thing the same way: czcams.com/video/uAskXXKV2GU/video.htmlfeature=shared
Is thay fr nba channel?
Harden being the best playmaker in the league doesn’t get recognition at all 💯💯
Check Thinking Basketball podcast were they tried to rank current passers, Harden was mentioned there.
God bless ❤🙏 Jesus loves you all
1st example was a broken play.
Saved by Bron.
"The Gospel is that I am so sinful that Jesus had to die for me, yet so loved and valued that Jesus was glad to die for me. This leads to deep humility and deep confidence at the same time. I can't feel superior to anyone and yet I have nothing to prove to anyone." - Tim Keller
How the hell do you not include harden
Didn't made the cut.
@@thinkinginsideout4053 which is laughable. He makes a play that deserves to be here almost every game
@@thelegendoof8744 Plays which are not enough to make the cut here particularly. It would make yours but not here and it's okay.
@@thinkinginsideout4053 nope harden is just hated
@@thelegendoof8744 No, you just feel bad he did not made it. Out of many smart plays in the league choices should be made and not every play will get selected.
6:10 How is this a fadeaway exactly? 😅
Lebron travels with the ball once again. That is why the defender left him pass. Today's NBA is a circus. More expensive that go to the theater and see a good play.
The fact you thought starting with a play from a highly questionable win from the Flakers, after they were gifted ten times more FT's than their opponent, instantly makes me question your integrity.
But OF COURSE an NBA suggested video HAS to start with a bucket of LeComissioner himself.
Off to a GREAT start. 👍😒
If you know Ben's channel, he mainly focus on on-court plays. Lakers being here is not deliberate. It's just one of the plays chosen, chill bro.
@@thinkinginsideout4053 they gotta be trolling
Why did you choose so many white guys?!?
Why not? SHOULD it always be about the race?
Bro thinks he’s jxmyhighroller
Jxmy sucks compared to this man
You don't know Ben Taylor, don't compare.
I love Jimmy but he's a stats guy not a play by play analyst. Entirely different content.
