I just read the NY Bestseller book Crying in H Mart about a young half-Korean woman who lost her mum in her 20s and how she coped. It brought me a lot of solace - not that I've lost mine. But I moved halfway across the world to get away from an abusive dad but that also meant not being as close to my mother anymore (geographically). You might enjoy the book :) It's written so beautifully.

Just a spirit here enjoying the human experience. The richest moments of the experience are in the little things we call mundane. The scents, the flavours, the tunes, the views, the hugs, the aches, the pain, the growth, the change. These are the best parts and if we don’t realise it now, we’ll realise it once it’s over. 🤍
