What a great video! but I would really have loved to see how you connect the switch with to the other components. What do you do with the black and white cables?

Sorry, took a long time to make the video and I know I missed some details. Black goes to ground, white goes to any of the line of out, best after the pickups, at the switch or even jack. Thx

@@chelseacollectibles8827 thanks very much for your answer, I'm really not good with this kind of tasks but I decided to try it myself for once (I should have choosen an easier project lol) and your video and indications are gonna help me a lot. Thanks again

Great stuff, is there a switch for a standard Stratocaster with 3 single coils and that can utilize the tone control?

If I were to add this to a strat type guitar I would just remove the one tone so you still have the 3 way switch for pickups and then this rotary as the last control.
You may want to also check out the old Esquire wiring, that uses a 3 way switch but only has 1 pickup.

Qué función tiene el choke en el circuito? Para qué sirve?
    Gracias y saludos

There is a lot of info on what the choke does, you can make this with and without the inductor / choke. It will make this a notch filter. Thx

    Thank you kindly!
Would it be possible to use a single resistor wired to the input and ground?

The schematics say to put a resistor on each and also since they aren't expensive I just put one on each cap.
      Thx

What value choke do you have and where did you get it? I was looking at 1.5H transformer style chokes, but yours looks way different. Planning on making a variation of this for a 3 band passive EQ using a notch filter for mid cuts.

I get these from overseas, its an Axial Inductor. You can use any conductor, axial, radial, there are a few types. Since no electricity is going through it you can use a lower value, some people even make them without any choke/inductor.
As for value, I'm not sure on value right now, I was getting a value that would work and also fit inside the cavity of the guitars.

Do you have a deal where the package comes with all the capacitors already attached? Thank You.

I offer this as a kit where you assemble, I make the switch so you can just drop in and I offer this inside of a pedal case so you don't have to mod your guitar. Please check out my reverb shop. Thx

What are the resistor values you use?
