Oh Father Clifford what great gifts God has bestowed upon you in you're articulate speech and beautiful expression of his law and his word. You're a true shepherd & priest and an artist of his gospel. Thank you so much for your unique way of showing us the Lord's way. May God bless and keep you always. Amen
My family and I knew him well, a fine Irishman crossed our path years ago, later in life for my parents, my father picked up his mantle and ran with it, my parents insisted he meet their darling Mother at EWTN, the rest is history folks, I miss this lovely man every day but look forward to seeing him soon again, he wrote mt dear fathewr's eulogy, a thing of beauty......
REST IN THE MOST BLESSED PEACE OF JESUS CHRIST GOD, DEAREST FR. LEO CLIFFORD. Thank you for being our Great Shepherd Of THE LORD!!!! YOU ARE, STILL, OUR EXTRAORDINARILY TALENTED & WISE SAINT ON EARTH, AMEN!!!!
Father Leo Clifford was called home by our Lord. He lived near me in New York. Did you know that he just started making these reflections with no known to him way of them ever being seen before youtube. The Holy Spirit was at work here and a connection was made with the largest global Catholic network EWTN. They are still played daily on that network at 3:20 PM between the Divine Mercy Chaplet and before the Rosary.
I act as if he lives, and I try to listen to him daily. He had so much to share with us, and yet, God took him home. I believe he suffered a great deal. May he now rest in peace. Thank you for sharing Linda, God bless you.
Thank-U LORD for having given us this shepherd whose work continues to teach & inspire us to know U, love U, serve U & to be with U forever in eternity. Amen.
He is the smartest man I ever heard he perfectly summed up that virtue in such a way to help me understand even the words Christ Jesus did and that was to empty ourselves to be a servant empty ourselves for souls like him. Thank you thank you father Leo I pray God has this simple wisdom spread everywhere.
So beautiful' words to live by,all is well.Apart from God is what I invasion as hell, cold, dark, ugly, agonizing torment, endless pain.Oh Lord ,I am fill of joy because I KNOW YOU. hell is a depart from God' Love, humbly,Give, live,do ,Forgive,Humbly...Love is God,HE is Love nothing is without,or ever was or ever shall become,if Not by LOVE,BY GOD...!
Fr. Leo’s moral message about the virtue of Humility can be a moral lesson. I remember few years ago, one of my Catholic priests told me about the virtue of Humility and how it’s the mother of all virtues. It’s like in the Gospel of Saint Luke 18:9-14. The Pharisee and the tax collector.
There are some thoughts which however old they are, are always new. Either because they're so broad that we never thoroughly learn them or because they are so intensely practical that their interest is always absorbing 1:56 🔥🔥
May God have a place for you in heaven the prayed to our Lord Jesus Christ have something you might be. Bagels apartment pray for us review closer to God than ever amen
What a wondrous Love, "Humility" teaches!Oh and Shakespeare got it wrong because Jesus "traveled" these roads and according to many, including the Disciples, and witnesses, Jesus returned. (And will return again!).So we all look forward to our ultimate perfect salvation, once we have accomplished our "journey!"
Dear Father, Jesus rose above Shakespeare! He thus gave us all a much more positive vision than the negative outcome given by Shakespeare!Think about it! (I honestly say that with true humility). 👍👍👍
Like every other talk or book on humility I ever heard or read, it is long on telling us how wonderful humility is, and very short on telling us how to get it.
George Penton It's given to you. To be broken and crushed down is a great gift insofar as it lays the foundation within us for humility. And humility lays the foundation for all virtue that follows it. To foster it, independently? Thoroughly examine your conscience daily and make restitution or penance for any way in which your service faltered. Better yet, obey. Offer yourself as a living sacrifice to Lord, holy and pleasing to God. A broken spirit and a contrite heart he will not despise.
George Penton what? Really I felt he summed it up perfectly to empty yourself and be a servant deny yourself your desires for others whether it's rest whether it's warmth or food to feed another to hasten to every task that is good to deny time for yourself for prayer and contemplation in the Bible denying yourself pleasure I know it's hard to do because I too am learning but I hope this helps.
"Learn of me for I am meek and humble of heart" said the Man Who ran away from home at age 12, insulted religious and political leaders, and went around claiming to be God. Folks, I don't doubt Jesus's divinity or His holiness, but in what way, shape, or form is Kesis even remotely humble?
Pray for us Father Clifford
When I can't pray or study I just listen to these videos and God picks me up from the dirt into which I daily fall.
Without God we can do nothing.
I often rewatch each offering, finding further meaning/understanding each time. Food for my hungry soul indeed.Thank you, my Lord.
God bless you Father Leo Clifford

the typical Christian teaching
God loves you soooooo much
BUT
if you dont love him
you'll receive misery for........ever!
smokeybirdman God can't force you to love him. You make the choice, not Him.
