I looked it up: a 'völva' is a female practitioner of magic divination and prophecy in Old Norse society. A 'vulva' on the other hand..
So basically... like a Witch, since the Gundvolva isn't piloted but controlled. Just trying to make sense of it and why Bandai chose the name

The unmanned unit kit doesn't really have a bad color scheme. Love the shape of the parts.
when i first saw the kit announced i prayed it was a main character’s gundam but its cool its basically a gun-bit in mobile suit form. i bought one but i’m going to try making my first custom with this mobile suit. i feel it has great customization potential
Yep, it's pretty cool that it's the WfM equivalent of Wing's Mobile Dolls.
The Shoulder looks exatly like the HG Graze Shoulders.
The real challenge is getting 6 of these they are hard to come by
I'm surprised you didn't have any problems with the ball joints at the feet because a fair number of reviews I've read have had their ball joints snap right off because they are too tight.
Yep, it’s the heel peg but a little bit of sanding took care of it
@@arethas6537 something no customer should have to do. The kit shouldn't have these tolerance issues.

Shoulders look pretty fine to me. If I had to adjust them I'd make them a bit more angular.

Just got mine. Already assembled it. This baby's amazing. If this keeps up, it can be just as good or even better than the RGs

I've seen *alot* of cool customs out of this little guy floating around on Twitter, it's a really good canvas to start on
Yeah it feels like this kit can be the TWFM of Aile Strike Gundam without the back pack
I like it due to its simplicity
The redish shell unit makes me think of a Rear car signal lights.
Word of caution: the peg for the ankle armor can break off pretty easily, as mine snapped off during the building process. At least it doesn't look _too_ bad without the ankle armor, though (provided you're willing to do the same to the other side to make it even). Also, you CAN just bend and split the conjoined magazines in two, if you're careful about it and sand them down afterward.

Love the color scheme being a nod to the RX-78-3.
Love this guy, he looks so much like the GunEZ, the backpack, the hardpoints of the arms/legs and ofc the face, can't wait to grab at least 3 to customize
I think the thrusters on the backpack can be replaced with the Zowort Heavy's backpack weapons to give it a more militaristic vibe.
So yea, a custim EZ potential there.

The second mobile suit I like in the series, the first one is the Michaelis. But, the best kit from the series is HG Lfrith, hahaha.
This design strikes me as a what if the GN-X was converted into a Gundam type MS. Can’t wait to get this kit.
It more strictly reminds of the Rasveht from Gundam X, and to be fair that's absolutely what they're running off of in this unit- as it's essentially a G-Bit reimagined as G-Wtich tech. Similar very simple design and minimal armament like the Rasveht
@@gtf234 I never watched Gundam X so I’m not familiar with the lore. But it’s true this isn’t the first time Gundam has had unmanned units like Rasveht you mentioned and the mobile dolls from wing. Thanks for the info.
The Gundvölva is such a cool design. I wish they would create a side story where the main character finds and rebuilds one, retrofitting it with a cockpit.
Aerial did have the coolest shoulders out of all of them.
I can feel the Raphael Gundam -ish mechagaikitsu graded this as perfect HG Gundam for me the only issue is no extra relax or open hands.
This is a must buy kit.
Hgs have had badly detailed hands for a long time now
not a perfect solution but im sure you could nab the open hands from Ur or Thorn and swap for the grey backs. the hands are the same so itll work but the colors may not be a 100% match

Care with the ankle armor, the joints are a bit tight, and can break off easily

I forgot what stream he said it but if I recall correctly, he doesn't want to because there's tons of reviews of it going around being a very popular kit so there's nothing that can be covered that isn't covered already.

I find a lot of people complaining about the ankle joint been too tight...It could be a defect but c'mon. If the joint is too thight, just don't push the joint in! Remove the joint and sand it a bit then install it!
If you know the joint is tight and you still try to move it of course it will break, that's common sense! Same thing with MG Sinanju waist, people who break that joint is stupid af.

Those are pretty much just Graze shoulders, and it drives me nuts that they don't match the rest of the suit aesthetic.

these beasts are humanoid unmanned drones similar to the GX-Bits from Gundam X.
what they coudlve done with the magazine is put the peg on the shield and hole on the mag instead. really weird design choice, but tbh not the first time i came across weird design choices in like 30+ kits ive built

Well there's always going to be more HG than mg that's the point
HG is Bandai-Namco mainstay products, they will pump more hg because it is more easy to produce and more profitable than MG
What's the problem with more HG kits? It's cost less to produce and much more affordable. Imagine for those new comers who want to get their 1st kit and found out all those MG's cost like 6000-10000yen vs HG kits around 1000 yen. Which one would you rather buy if you're new to the hobby?
In short, HG sells more than MG
