Mystic Dan could win the Preakness, with Muth being scratched it leaves the race pretty much wide open .Seize the Gray will be a contender also . The sixteenth of a mile shorter then the Derby will make Mystic Dan hard to run down in the stretch .
I really think mystic Dan will be the favorite for this race since muth did scratch and I also think he has a decent chance for the triple crown guess we’ll have to see
@@danielnunez-dc2sb If he would win the Belmont also , I don’t think he could be called a Triple Crown winner, because this years Belmont is only a mile and a quarter. The real Belmont is a true test of champions at a mile and a half, so maybe they’ll have to put a notation next to his name if that should happen.
@@robertlosasso4222 He won't win Belmont, not with a 5-weeks-rest Sierra Leone waiting. My guess is he'll skip Belmont altogether if he doesn't win Preakness.
@@Repiiv88 You could be right , if he skips the Belmont he could stay right at Saratoga for the TRAVERS which is also a mile & 1/4 and isn’t run till Sometime In August. Another scenario is that Mystic Dan just might point towards The Jim Dandy Stakes which is also run at Saratoga . It is a mile & 1/8 for three year olds. So it seems that there are a few options out there for him .
