Bumble Camper review (Toyota Previa campervan conversion)

- Nicola and I hired a Bumble Camper for the weekend to explore the Lake District in. We also wanted to gauge one of these campervans for potential future ownership as we once owned a Volkswagen T25 camper that we both miss. In the video I show you around the camper, how to put the bed down and other bits and bobs.
Please note: I'm not affiliated to Bumble Campers and we paid for the hire. I've made this video to help others decide if they wish to hire one of these vans too or convert their own Previa.

I like the bed design. Easy set up and a lot of space to move around when the bed wasn't set up. Also the inside and outside accessible kitchen bench. This is my favourite minivan conversion.
I would get foam mattress rather than a foton mattress as it was too heavy. Otherwise good setup.
I recently bought one of these people carriers very cheap.
They were the best design in my opinion. Massive windows, sliding doors, rotational seats, huge sunroof, all over futuristic design, Toyota reliability.
I'm going to convert mine to a camper.
Did you go for the same model in the film or the slightly new model? I noticed Ford Galaxy's have captain seats as standard, but I'd rather have Toyota reliability.
Cheers
Robin
@@WalkWithWallace it's the same model in the film. It's 20 years old but in great condition.
It will make a great solo camper.
@@mannixflinn6227 excellent. All the best with it. 👍🏼
@@WalkWithWallace thanks so much.
My sis had one a few years back. Nothing but problems 🤷🏻♀️ Guess there are always individual cases.
To be fair that is not a bad option, especially if you cannot afford a campervan or similar, quite impressive really, cheers Alan
Alan METALMAN - Hiking & Outdoors they've got their quirks but I liked the Bumble Camper a lot. Plenty advantages to having a smaller vehicle and idea for a couple or sole travel.
Great video - thanks for making it! The camper needs a popup roof and it will be a winner!
Cheers AG, pop top would be awesome. 👌🏼
Cool good job!!
Thank you. 😊
Perfect set up I will copy you set up
Not sure I would use a foton bed. I'd get foam so it's lighter.
@@WalkWithWallace thanks I'll take your advice
nice video, how are the water bottles tied down?
Biffo Thebear thanks Biffo, the bottles are not tied down and this wasn't an issue as the pipes keep the bottles in place.
Anything in their design you would change? (I am buying one to build out)
I would prefer a rock 'n bed instead. I felt the futon was a bit heavy and awkward for that size of van. Otherwise I think it was fine.
How are the felt curtains fixed up ?
From memory I'm sure it's the rubber suckers that stick to the window.
What's the source of power, Sir? I couldn't quite catch what you were saying. Apologies.
External hook up or the small leasure battery. 👍🏼
If this guy clears his throat one more time i swear...
I was still finding my feet with vlogging, but *ahem* thanks for the feedback. 😁
Is this company still renting, does s it come with roof tent
Hi there, Bumble Campers are still in business. They can do a roof tent at an extra cost, check out their website as I'm not sure what they're doing with keeping their vans covid safe.
How much was the rental cost?
Hey there, for rental costs check out their website: www.bumblecampers.com/
