When Doug and Carrie are talking in the kitchen, Tim just happens to be in view from the kitchen window. Lol
It was all the same long "stage" from Doug's and Carrie's front yard all the way to the inside of their garage. There were some scenes were a person walks through multiple of those rooms in one single cut with the camera moving "through" the walls. Sorry to destroy your illusion that this was a real house in New York. It's not. It's a studio in California.

This was one of the best shows. Great writers and super talented actors. Wish is came back for 2024 in a brand new series with these guys all much older.
