We have 13 kids. I have no regrets, my family are non-practising Catholics. They came around because they love our kids, we tried to do a good job of raising them, 6 are grown and they are doing fine in life. We homeschooled, as a result our kids were socialized such that they could talk to adults and they impress people. Ends up our family loves our choice. It took a little time to get there, but I do think that the grace was there for us to raise them and the grace is there for our family too. ❤ Trust God, He is faithful and He is so good!
Fr. Chris Alar has some fantastic explaining the faith videos on The Divine Mercy CZcams channel! They’re easy to understand and engaging. He covers a multitude of topics and I myself was catechized through them. I couldn’t recommend Fr. Chris enough.
Considering Catholicism has been really informative and helpful to my journey becoming a Catholic so far, their teachings are true to the Catechism and they have Priests, Bishops, Catholics, etc. on the podcast to offer more information.
I’m worried that when I hopefully have kids my non Catholic family will confuse them and turn them away from the faith. Not on purpose but I fear that a kid/teen would look at them and think “if this isn’t important for the rest of the family then why should it be for us?”
"Abiding Together" and "Among the Lilies" are a great podcasts. So are "The Catholic Talk Show" and "Catholic Stuff You Should Know" . For the Struggling Catholic Teenage Girl, I highly recommend listening to "The Being Human Podcast" by Gregory Bottaro or "Interior Integration for Catholics" by Dr. Peter Malinoski

The poem “God’s Grandeur” is a poem about finding God’s glory in things that are dirty. I think it would be helpful for the girl with OCD to read it. Also think about how dirty Jesus would have been in His passion and how that didn’t prevent Him from loving you. Rejoice in your dirtiness and imperfections, for they make God love you more!

And may God listen to your prayers and guide my way! 🙏🏻 I am converted since 2019 and didn't have the chance to get baptized yet!! 😥 Not mentioning that I can't get inside a church because my national id still say "Muslim", and only Christians are passing the security of the church _which is guarded by Muslim police_ based on their dominant and no way around this; if your ID says Orthodox Christian you can enter into Orthodox churches, same if you're a Catholic Christian, it's a matter of national security issues to keep the majority/minority balance in favour of Islam, since the constitution affirms that it's a Muslim nation and should be ruled by Islamic traditions! Sounds like the girl in Hungary needs to associate with other Catholics. She should go to Mass and meet other lay Catholics. If her family opposes that, then she should find a private Catholic Face Group.

I couldn't stop laughing when I heard ,'Marriage is under attack'. I am listening to this a day later just after Pope announced that priests can now bless same sex couples without requiring any moral analysis. Do we really need to worry about some nefarious progressive atheist groups for attacking marriage?
I know I know, the only high we may get is in the coffee and the only ecstasy we may experience is in the presence of the holy eucharist, but since we live on planet earth. Shouldn't we say 'live on Hungary' instead of 'live in Hungary.' 🤨Grammar I tell ya'll, it's that grammar.

I second this! Fr. Chris and all the Marian fathers are wonderful. I watch their daily mass since I can’t attend in person.

as someone with OCD, nothing was worse than religion. if you have OCD, please go to a secular therapist that focuses on OCD. Lmfao.
