Laughing at each other's injures, especially serious ones, is how guys show each other they care Lumi, if nobody's laughing at you it hurts a lot worse.
I think the difference is that people know male streamers can take care of themselves but also know that vtubers CANNOT take care of themselves.

Maybe that exacerbates things, but even irl female streamers seem to be infantilized a fair amount.
When she says "vtuber" she just means "female streamers" because vtubing is essentially a no boys allowed club. Men make zero dinero doing it, so they don't do it.
