Wow i completly forgot about spose. This isnt just a throwback to old music. This is a throwback to when times were better. The country wasnt split as bad as it is now. All of my childhood friends were still alive. None of them comitted suicide yet. None of them became just a name of a park after being shot to death in Afghanistan. My friend was still a young innocent kid instead of being in jail for murdering Jennifer laude over seas. None of my childhood friends were drug addicts. This was back when smoking bog rips with friends was an adventure. My step dad was still energetic and well before cancer ravaged his body. This is back before a school shooting wasnt happening every week. Back when you could go to a store with a dollar or 2 and walk away with a few things. This song will forever be a capture in time of when everything was normal and without stress. This song for me means alot more than just a song. This is a song that is able to make me feel like i can relive memories of those simpler times. It makes me feel like i am sitting on a porch or in the woods with my group of friends talking about stuff that had no meaning again. Back then, life truely was a journey, and this song is the title of a whole chapter.
