That back end is looking pretty good for sure, why not make a nice looking gas tank to fit in it? Thats what i did with my homemade 600cc buggy and it looks great. Also saves you from using a fuel pump
it also keeps him from putting the fuel tank in the nose of the frame .. which is just a poor idea as that is the primary impact zone on the vehicle..
Yes absolutely
Hang it under that sissy bar on the back and put a fender underneath it with tail light and license tag plate on the back of the fuel cell. I don't know of a DOT inspector in NC that will let you tag that thing, but who knows. I would talk to them now before you go any further. If you drive it on the road, paint it something bright and visible, otherwise someone is going to ride home with you in the grill of their truck.
@@n1r0l I think that's a good idea. He will probably need to put some sort of rear fender on it anyway if it is driven on the street. He's got the skill to fab up something that fits well in this spot.
Rear looks good but needs a bigger automotive wheel-something wider and more substantial. Triangulate instead of keeping those curved 90 degree tubes at the bottom of the swing arm mounting location. Real nice rear area!
Yes, with this wheel that thing will have no traction at all, all three wheels need to be flat profiled and the one in the back the double width like the front ones, need to rethink the whole setup in the back except of he wants to build something to do uncontrolled spinning on one spot.
Exactly my thought on that rear swing arm area...
There's a reason cars don't have separate front and rear brakes.... Just use them on the same circuit with a controllable bias to tune it how you want it
I agree
Yup it's madness to have separate brakes. It's not a bike!
can't he use an automotive master cylinder/lines
rear wheel hand brake
This is what I was going to say..
Might want to rethink the tank in the front, as thats the bit most likely to crash into something.
Not to mention gravity feed is your friend
@@bcfoley96 fuel pump
@@billsfanmc1786 That's an additional component. I like to keep it simple. Not saying it couldn't work though.
8:00 yeah if you put it there you were able to make some fiberglass induction through the hole in above your head making it dual purpose not only as a roll bar but also induction for the rad
Hey, I thing the rear is looking really great. Just wanted to point out idea regarding the gas tank. Do you really thing it is good idea to put it where you are most likely to punch it? I mean in case of any front crast you will have gas everywhere. It seems that better place for it would be somewhere over the engine, you could even design it to fit with the angles of back section and it wont interfere with the radiator at all.
Other than that awesome work!!! Love to watch your videos.
David
I feel like there’s an equal chance of the rear end coming around and getting wrapped around a tree so I disagree
ya but it could run down on the hot motor then kinda a hard ch on that one
using a bladder inside the tank would reduce risk of leaking in a wreck.
Fuel cell....not gas tank. They are different, believe it or not.
I like the idea of a tank in the back just to avoid needing a fuel pump.
It looks great! Hopefully you can put some sheet on various spots so you could add a vinyl wrap with your logos and increase aerodynamics.
I'd like to see a thin strip of LEDs as the rear brake lights, that would be beautiful.
OdiN put some stainless sheets down on it too call it the cyber trike 🤪😂🤑
Could just use a motorbike seat and tail. Then he gets a really freaking unsafe passenger seat too
OdiN Yes! recessed into the pipe above the rear tyre
@INORBET Yup and don't forget to hotglue a "magic mirror" for $50 into the dashboard to sell it as high-tech, an old android tablet does it aswell.
Loveing the build, it looks sooo good.
Fuel tank above shock in triangle tubes area. You only need maybe 1 or 1.5 gallons. Many benefits there
I love the look of it the whole flow of it runs nicely together
It as a whole looks great! Cant wait to see finished. I think an f1 style intake would look great on it.
From a design perspective, the front end has a beautiful swooping curve, but then in the back it's geometric. I would like to see that back end of the frame / curve be one smooth round curve as well. Beautiful work none the less and am a big fan of the Ariel Atom so I'm loving the inspiration.
I like the squared off rear tire cover that you did, instead of it being pointed. Keep a theme, either rounded or pointed, low and sleek looks good to me. Also, I agree with others on here LED brake lights and some sort of pod lights for the front.
I love the looks of this thing for sure and im glad you did the back the way you did
This bad boy is looking so awesome. I love that tail piece. Excited to see more.
OK - thoughts: The two bars on each side of the engine that cross each other - Cut one loose, kick a bend in it and cut it and make a proper X on each side like you did in the top support of the center roll bar-
also- on the angle bars in the front of the frame in front of the suspension - you have both going the same angle, which looks terrible and doesn't flow with the "Triangulation" theme of Ariel Atom frame design - cut the front-most one loose and reverse it's direction so it'a a triangle, please
I think it's looking GREAT so far-
as far as both F & R brakes being on one pedal, I had a shifter kart with two masters off the one pedal, and it had a device hooked in so you could adjust a pivoting rocker between the masters on the pushrod to the front to rear brake bias on the fly as the brakes and tires warmed up - was easy to make and worked excellent-
I am liking the flow of your lines.
It exceeds my initial expectation! Impressive!
This whole thing looks badass
One of my favorite subscriptions, you have amazing ability to put ur ideas to function. very entertaining.
needs a wide rear tire imo
And proper tires/wheels at the front
you just love adding excess weight to your projects.
Yeah, I thought all those extra bars are unnecessary - it looked just fine without them and I think he's adding more weight than strength.
Remember how that vf1000 buggy was supposed to be at the beginning? "a lightweight baja/sandrail one seater".
It's really looking great man. Keep up the awesome work. Always look forward to watching your videos for this thing.
The back fits the design of the overall vehicle. Man that thing is big!
Love the way it's looking.
I think It looks bad ass front to rear! Digging it front suspension and that rear fender look good
that looks perfect man!
I think it looks wicked like that. Keep rolling with it.
Man this REVERSE TRIKE BUILD IS STARTING TO LOOK REALLY COOL!
DAYUM, NEW EPISODE, YOU MADE MY DAY
Man love your builds things you make are very cool can’t wait too see it Finish
I like it! You have awesome fabrication skills!
The rear section looks great and not to beat a dead horse but I do agree with building a custom gas tank for the rear, definitely needs beefier tires all around. Love the custom air scoop idea and like one other person mentioned, a single braking system set up properly is the way to go especially if you don't want to confuse whomever is going to inspect this beast to give the yay or nay on it being street legal. Great build so far, love your content.
love what you have done so far, tail is fine!
This is looking cool 👍I cant wait to see the finish product
Can-Am uses a foot peddle that actuates the front and rear at the same time with a proportioning valve similar to cars and trucks. Jegs sells a manual adjustable valve for setting front to rear bias for breaks that could make your breaks easier to plumb up. I like the rear bars and it reminds me of a dirt bike rear fender. Wrap this thing in fleece fabric then cover it with fiberglass resin then paint to make it look silky smooth with the bars putting body lines in.
Proportioning valve. You can run the front and rear off of the same pedal and adjust as necessary.
Edit: the build is awesome! Keep it going!
I think it looks killer!
I think the rear looks good. fit some fairing and it will look awesome.
I think it looks awesome!
That looks really good man keep up the work
looks pretty sick... like the shape, it looks fast.
Ok, I going to have to say that is one bad ass machine you are building. I would drag it outside so you can get a full view of it. At least before you start cutting it. Boy I sure cannot wait to see the cold start and test drive on that bad boy. Awesome build!
This is really cool looking man!
The tail looks great !!
It looks sick👍👍
Nice work keep up bro
I realy don't miss out ur videos at all..
I always learn new things from u...
Looks cool! Can't wait to see it running. Maybe on the road. I live close to you so it would be cool to see irl.
It is one off it LOOKS BRILL stop second guessing yourself your doing A great job cant wait to see it in paint and finished 💪💪👍👍😎
beauty rear 0n'er!! i see room for the rad over the motor as described but the tank could go over the rear shock. I think it looks sweet
Honestly, it looks like a single seat twist on a T-Rex. I dig it. You're 100% gonna have to switch tires to a flat profile. They dont lean on a trike, so you're missing out on all of the sticky compound that makes a motorcycle tire good. (Never rolls to the sidewall)
Keep up the great work. Super excited for this one!!
Nice Trike😃 Radiator Fan & Fuel cell on back👍
I think it looks great this way! Well done Chris! 👍😁
I like it keep it going
hydraulic handbrake- short throw, long lever for lots of feeling on the rear end, then have a master for the fronts
Idk what it is about the honda swing/trailing arm deal but it looks funky lol
I know I respect a channel when I hit like before I watch the video. Great stuff, man!
looks real cool man
Always good videos!👍
Looks really good I think bud nice job
Looking great 👌
it looks good keep it up
it looks good 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Nice job if ya don't want rear traction!
Like I mentioned before two rear tires two separate swing arms right next to each other independently mounted right next to one another
It looks awesome from here. Can't wait to see it throw dirt.
Don't overthink it bud. It looks awesome, I've seen waaay too many builds take a turn for the worse because they are worried what everyone else thinks. This is one of my favorite builds to watch, keep up the awesome work.
looks awesome
He visto varios videos y en este canal es donde realmente se entiende bien el proyecto. Excelentes videos 👍👍👍 Saludos desde Costa Rica 🇨🇷🇨🇷🇨🇷
You got some crazy skills and cool visions. looks good to me
Been waiting for this lol
Sick one mate
I've wanted to do this so bad with the ninja 600 I have ...it looks amazing man keep up the good work
It looks bad ass man
It looks great
Roll bar bracing. Your thinking safety which is good. I have rolled my single seater at Silverstone. I suggest a web brace in the corner between chassis horizontal and roll hoop. In the event of a roll over you want maximum strength. Looking good. As for brakes I would personally prefer a dual system so you can bias it slightly to the front.
Nice project.... Just plumb the brakes together with an adjustable / lockable bias valve for the rear.
A test drive with a few skids will soon get it set up...
Good Work!!!!!
I think you are right about the tail section, looks a bit strange. Almost like a dirtbike. I would chop it of at the crossbar. As for a fender, use the oem hugger the bike probably came with. That way you can design anything around a stubby tail. Love your work!
I think it looks amazing now!
Some motorcycles do have linked front and rear brakes (Honda VFR800 is one.) The rear brake isn't super powerful so you could add it to the fronts and maybe worst case have to run an proportioning valve. I had a thought for the radiator , you could mount it flat against the side of the frame just behind the seat which would keep the hoses quite short and just have a scoop on the side. You could enclose the sides of the engine bay and put a matching scoop on the opposite side. 👍
Tail looks good man
Good luck with your works. Very smart
Back section looks great. Wouldn’t mess with it. Gonna need a fender of some sort anyhow.
I like the back thing you added
Love the vids
That thing turned really cool in my opinion
Estamos esperando essa maquina ai em, ta ficando top
One of a kind
What’s up man love the build
It looks good from my point of view your headed to the rite direction..
"Let's throw sparks all over a propane tank"
You doing it had me cringing. The comment, however, had me laughing.
I think it looks awesome
I think the whole design looks good. I would add like a curve from the bottom corner where the swing arm is, to the back tail section. This way, it flows well from rear to front. I wasn't sure about this build at first, but the more I watch, the more I become interested.
"There is a reason motorcycles have seperate front and back brakes" I'm sorry but news flash you're not building a motorcycle here.
Yeah lol. Just needs a decent size master cylinder with 3 lines.
ShadowStal3er 0 or simply run 2 master cylinder 1 for the front and 1 for the rear. This way yon can adjust both
I feel safer with two separate brakes, with the possibility of triggering them together : combi brake system
1 tire fire
But...but....it’s going to get a motorcycle registration if he can license it. 😉
@@mathiscote3068 that's a good idea as well
I think it looks sick
Looking good.
Looks good
don’t forget this engine might have to come out one day make some bars removable (keep up the good work)
I really like the back half. It's the front that looks weird to me. It seems like the stance in the front 2 tires is too wide. I would definitely do the brakes all on one that can be tuned front and back. And I would definitely put the tank in the back. Looking really good! Love your work!
It looks cool and sporty pal
