There are rarely pieces of work which leave a void in me. Doona made me feel empty once I completed it. Played with my heart completely. It’s such a beautiful and moving drama. Emotional,bittersweet and sad. Doona,the character was like a representative for people like me. I could relate so much to her existential crisis and her in general. She did some bad things but i was able to understand and gave her my compassion.She’s someone i would love to protect. And Suzy aced this role so perfectly. She accurately imbibed all of Doona’s shades from vulnerability and fear to confidence and strength. YSJ as WJ was great too. The cinematography is insane. Doona is beautiful beyond the most beautiful of dramas. The drama has the vibe of an indie film. And the ost is so beautiful and potent. Very emotional. Instantly became one of my favourite soundtracks of all time. Every song is a masterstroke in emotional and beauty. The lyrics are comforting,pretty and relatable and suit the characters perfectly. Full Moon by Seori here is just so beautiful and a very depressive song. Very addictive and very emotional. The lyrics suit the dynamics of their relationship so perfectly.And Seori’s singing is very expressive. This edit is well done too. Amazing.
