Omg Isa…. I relate to you especially in an Asian household. We used to start holidays preparing and looking forward to it and then at times, end up with serious disagreements or fights. 😂 it is funny looking back at it now but, if we think about it, the bad things should end with us, the younger generations, if we can, and keep the best things we learned from our elders. ❤❤❤

i can relate to this vlog so much especially because we just got home from a big celebration with our relatives. we were all together hours ago but i already miss them. one thing that makes me sad about our family is that the bond we, cousins, used to have as teenagers is gone. it makes me sad how we became distant from each other and i can strongly feel the gap between us. i just hope that as we get older, we can strengthen our connection because in the end, it's gonna be just us, relatives, who will help each other as a family. happy holidays to every family out there. have fun and treasure every moment!!
Parents or the older generation are often the glue that keeps families together. Sadly, it’s not uncommon for cousins or even siblings to drift apart for various reasons including who they marry, who they identify with, physical distance, etc. People change. They have their own kids and families lines that become their priority and that’s okay … but it’s nice to look back at previous “eras” of life and remember the good times. ❤
