I hope we can go into hi-tech areas, too, such as computer hardware and software, chips, automobile assembly(we have a few now), biotech, nuclear energy, and other areas that will create jobs for the regular Cambodian people. Cambodia needs to have a top notch schools with big campus that teach everything from social, technology, science, medicine, business, and engineering to the likes of the world such as, Harvard, Standord, MIT, Oxford, Cambridge, and Princeton, etc.
I am in my 70s now. I have lived for 21 years in Cambodia and 50 years abroad ( France & USA ). I am now retiring in Phnom Penh. I have noticed a big difference in human spirit between the generation before 1970 and the post khmer rouge generation. Today our khmer compatriots are much more dynamic, innovative, business driven and more educated. Those rich and successful families are where they are now because of the positive ascendance of local, national and international conditions. The center of gravity of development is now well anchored in Asia and Asean. I am proud to be Khmer.

Yes, these heirs they are trapped doing what their parents want whether they like business or not. Don't have a choice. Unlike heirs in the West, they are allowed to pursue their own interests.
