Anyone who knows a little Arabic knows that this is not the case in the ayah. والمسح is in the mansoob form (meaning: it has َ ), and الله which just comes Just before it is in the majroor form (meaning: it has ِ ) and so the correct translation is: "They have taken their rabbis and monks as well as the Messiah, son of Mary, as lords besides Allah)

    • @Mugi5wara
      @Mugi5wara Před 2 měsíci

Yeah I debunked it almost as soon as I heard him reading the verse, مِّن دُونِ doesn't mean instead of, it means without, so if his argument is that the verse is saying they take rabbis and priests as gods instead of Allah and Jesus (astarfirullah) it would be a wrong claim because the word literally means something else, the verse is basically saying without the guidance of Allah swt and Isa, and Hamza also explains it pretty well Ma'Sha'Allah that it says they take priests and rabbis as gods without Allah *and* Jesus son of Mary and they were not commanded but to worship one god, as the verse goes on.

As a Muslim and an Arabic person who knows my Arabic language very well, I say that his argument can only be used against a 6-year-old child.
I'm glad that you all caught him and cornered him and I loved the English example Hamza gave him to make things simple for the audience.
In the Quran, there are other similar examples used when Allah use the ( و ) in the middle of the Ayah like what you read in Surah Al-Baqarah
    2:127
    وَإِذْ يَرْفَعُ إِبْرَٰهِـۧمُ ٱلْقَوَاعِدَ مِنَ ٱلْبَيْتِ وَإِسْمَـٰعِيلُ رَبَّنَا تَقَبَّلْ مِنَّآ ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ ١٢٧
And ˹remember˺ when Abraham raised the foundation of the House with Ishmael, ˹both praying,˺ “Our Lord! Accept ˹this˺ from us. You are indeed the All-Hearing, All-Knowing.
    - Dr. Mustafa Khattab, The Clear Quran
In the translation, the word (with) is (و or and if letterly translated) and it is an Arabic way of speaking that is known and accepted by any Arabic person unlike this caller who is an imposter claiming to be an Arabic

in surat Al-Tawba there is also two cases examples like this..verse 94 and verse 105..also the famous verse in surat Al Baqara (2:285) where it says 'wal mu'minun' (and/ as well as the believers) after saying 'amana al rassulu bima unzila ilayhi min rabbihi' (The Messenger has believed in what was revealed to him from his Lord)..and MANY other examples..like 2:210 and 24:50 and 3:18.. let's take this simple example..if we were to use his same illiterate type of anti-Arabic translation of verse 18 of surat Aal-i-Imran which is about pure monotheism we would conclude that all of the angels and the people of knowledge are all Gods even though the same verse was meant to say that Allah bears witness that there is no God except HIM, and the angles and the people of knowledge also bear witness. it's very basic stuff.;the dude is just trying to confuse people who don't know Arabic..this is how missionaries do their business in Africa..deception is their motto..learning Arabic is a must for every muslim if able.

I challenge you to google practicing Jewish old testament scholar " Dr Benjamin D Sommer, on the trinity in the old testament".?? Then I'll show you tons of Jewish old testament scholars who become Christian after studying the old testament not the new testament ??

The Old testament does not show the Trinity, though in some places it does emphasize the plurality of God, but that doesn’t mean God is a trinity. For example, it says ‘Let us make man in our image’ but according to scholars it is said that it is referring to a Jewish thing known as ‘The divine council’ and I think 2 kings even mentions it explicitly. Now, what about all the other places where God is presented as a lonely figure? Your argument about Jewish scholars can be thrown back as well, there are many Christian scholars who themselves have said the Trinity is not biblical (neither Old or new). The issue is, you are able to read the Trinity into the Old Testament because the Old Testament is considered to be speaking in one voice by you, but it isn’t. For example, the authors who show Yahweh to be ‘The God alone’ never thought about a being like ‘Wisdom’ being with God in the beginning. That’s something that was developed overtime.

To start, how about explaining the Shekinah Glory of GOD Who rested upon certain prophets and holy men? Was that God or not? We refer to the Manifest Presence of GOD on earth the Holy Spirit.
After that, read Genesis 16, paying attention to the changes from *"AN angel of the Lord"* to *"THE angel of the Lord"* to *"And she called THE NAME OF THE LORD WHO HAD SPOKEN TO HER, "YOU ARE THE GOD OF SEEING..."*
7And *an angel of the Lord* found her by a water fountain in the desert, by the fountain on the road to Shur.
8 And he said, "Hagar, Sarai's servant, where are you coming from, and where are you going to?" And she said, "From before Sarai my mistress, I am fleeing."
9 *And the angel of the Lord said to her,* "Return to your mistress, and allow yourself to be afflicted under her hands."
10 *And the angel of the Lord said to her,* "I will greatly multiply your seed, and it will not be counted for abundance." :
11And *the angel of the Lord said to her,* "Behold, you will conceive and bear a son, and you shall name him Ishmael, for the Lord has heard your affliction.
12And he will be a wild donkey of a man; his hand will be upon all, and everyone's hand upon him, and before all his brothers he will dwell."

(With Him ˹alone˺ is the knowledge of the Hour.) does Jesus have the same knowledge
Since he stated with his own words:

“But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father."

Quran (4:171): "O People of the Book! Do not go to extremes regarding your faith; say nothing about Allah except the truth. The Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, was no more than a messenger of Allah and the fulfilment of His Word through Mary and a spirit ˹created by a command˺ from Him. So believe in Allah and His messengers and do not say, “Trinity.” Stop!-for your own good. Allah is only One God. Glory be to Him! He is far above having a son! To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And Allah is sufficient as a Trustee of Affairs."

Alright you don't need to read the whole Quran to get the right meaning of this ayah. Here's a simplified أعراب "Arabic Grammatical Analysis":
اتخذوا: فعل ماضي مبني على الضم - الواو فاعل
احبارهم: مفعول به منصوب وهم ضمير مبني اليه
ورهبانهم: مثل احبارهم ومعطوف عليه بالواو
    اربابا مفعول به ثاني منصوب
    .....
والمسيح: اسم معطوف على أحبار منصوب بالفتحه كما سبق في احبار، رهبان واربابا وحرف عطفه الواو
I could go into more details, but it's clear that person can speak Arabic but never studied it. The rest of the ayah and the ayah right before 9-30 clearly shows tawhid. Also this a common grammar in Arabic and there are other examples in the Quran. This guy should go back to school.

Grammatically or in Nahwu the kalimah al-masih is manshub, the same as The scholars and the rabbi as the object of worship who are mentioned in the beginning It is clearly that wawu athof (translate: "and") after "min duunillahi " is stated as the same group with the scholars and rabbis. And Hamzah you don't even need to bring the other entire ayah to disprove his claim, the end of this particular ayah is already reject his understanding. There is probability that the guess lies when he said the i'rab of al masiha in that ayah was incorrect and it is supposed to be al-masihi .... anyone who have learned Arabic grammar must know that his statement is very silly. The separation between Christ and the priests and monks was made because there is a difference between Christ, who is a messenger and a prophet of God, and the priests and monks are polytheists, and it is not permissible for a messenger of God to be united with these participants. This means that the distinction between the two categories was made for a clear reason.

The Arabic is very clear to anyone who have studied it. This verse is not even up for interpretation the Arabic makes it very clear what the interpretation is. To those who know the language of-course.
The word “المسيح” (The Messiah) has a fat-ha ( َ ) because it is in the state of what we call (مفعولٌ به) which is equivalent to the “object” in English.
Like in the phrase “I drink water”, ‘water’ here is the object, meaning it is the “object” to which the act “drink” is being happened to.
So the term (المسيح) (The Messiah) here has a fat-ha because it is the object to the act/verb (اتخذوا) (i.e. They have taken).
So it the phrase clearly says (They have taken their scholars and monks *and* The Messiah as lords beside Allah). The last ‘and’ just came later, which is a complex sentence structure and 100% grammatically correct.
Now the caller here claimed that the term ‎(المسيح) (The Messiah) having a fat-ha ( َ ) is “wrong” and wanted it to be a kasra ( ِ ) because then it would make sense to him as he wanted to interpret it as it being added to the “list of those to be worshipped besides Allah”.
The term (الله) (Allah) in the phrase (من دون اللهِ) has a kasra here because it is in what we call (مضاف اليه) which should have a kasra.
So if the term ‎(المسيح) (The Messiah) had a kasra instead then what the caller has claimed would’ve been correct, and it would’ve meant that The Messiah should be worshipped besides Allah.
But it’s obviously not that in the Qur’an it has a fat-ha meaning it’s added to the list of those being wrongfully worshipped instead of Allah.
Such ignorance and I had hoped he would’ve genuinely tried to understand it from an Arab speaker at least one who knows their Arabic language well rather than just claiming non-sense.

In that verse the word Messiah المسيح is maftuh not maksur, so it refers to the verb اتّخذوا (they have taken). So if it's related to Allah then it should be maksur like the word اللهِ.
    المسيحِ instead of المسيحَ
It's just pure Arabic grammar, like I am 17 years old. Either this man is ignorant and don't know how to read Arabic in a correct way, or he is just not a honnest person (but I think he's the last one honestly)

Messiah means rescuer (literally) because he will come with imam Mehdi to save us from dajjal

And how is he going to rescue you and to where and how will he do that?
Jesus is the Rescuer and Savior of those who believe He is the Son of God. Because He is God, He saves us from our sins which allows us to live eternally with Him in Heaven.

But how does this time waster translate the verse where it is a conversation between Jesus and God (God asks Jesus if he said he is God) and Jesus responds in the negative.
Two voices, not 1 in 3.
    Deniers. Disbelievers.

You’ve waster your time with this ignorant guy who doesn’t understand his own language’s composition. A very easy example to elaborate this verse further and silence this guy quickly would be to say: “I and Joe entered the room, and Mike”. So did I and Joe enter the room and also entered Mike?

They have taken their rabbis and monks as well as the Messiah, son of Mary, as lords besides Allah,1 even though they were commanded to worship none but One God. There is no god ˹worthy of worship˺ except Him. Glorified is He above what they associate ˹with Him˺! Chapter 9.31 Where does it say the son of Mary is God?It only says that they have taken the Messiah and the monks;Rabbis as lords beside Allah
I dont know how he comes to that conclusion
