    I've gotten a few requests to make an eat with me video to show you how I eat mindfully as a nutritionist and to give you my best mindful eating tips.     I really appreciate that you're demonstrating mindful eating while reading or watching tv to show that with proper techniques you can be mindful even when there are distractions around you. The important factor is that you do eat slowly and chew your food thoroughly so even though some people may not agree or have not mastered this skill, I find you are in fact being mindful with your meal. You are neither scarfing your food quickly or standing up while doing it mindlessly. I also don't see it a problem using a microwave to warm up a meal there is not scientific proof that using a microwave may be the cause of any cancer. I think having a balanced and healthy diet is more important. Thanks for sharing keep going love your channel!

      Thank you so much! You are absolutely right and I try to be realistic: most people aren't going to spend 30 minutes just staring at their food. Just trying to show what's possible! And so glad you love my channel ☺

    I want to learn to be mindful while eating with others instead of eating as fast as them or not being able to enjoy my food because I'm paying attention to them

    Stupid question. How about bloating? When I have fruit at work for example I get bloated and I don’t understand why. If I eat something not healthy for example bag of chips I don’t get that. But I have one fruit and I get gas and bloated and feel embarrassed and not comfortable at work. Any idea? Love you channel very inspiring 🤗

    This is probably silly but the two girls on the title page of Vogue in your backround in the beginning of the video look like you and your sister. I guess I'm probably wrong, but since the picture is a bit blurry, it is quite easy to get such an impresion.

    How long is good to wait between bites? How long should a meal be on average

      I like to wait until I'm fully done chewing/swallowing before having another bite, and then I take 30 sec or more breaks a few times throughout the meal! A meal should be at least 20-30 min long so you have time to eat slowly and mindfully!

    Honestly if I had to eat mindfully I would be super skinny, like I rarely feel hungry maybe once a day, and I always feel full full after 1/3 of a plate, like I tried for one day to eat mindfully and I ended up having only dinner…

      There's protein in bulgur, quinoa, and split peas, and I can have more protein-rich foods for my other meals! This held me over for 4 hours ☺

    I always thought nutritions would cook fresh stuff and not using the micro wave. And I don't the mobile Phone arround if I focus on my meal.

      The microwave is a great cooking tool, and fresh doesn't necessarily mean better! + I was reading a book and have learned to do so while eating mindfully
