Missed my home for almost eight years...thanks for the video....brings back a lot of nostalgic memories.
20 years I left and it is now unrecognizable.
really appreciated your video. I miss Toronto.
I can see sky, ppl walking, cars and the buildings, so many memoriries.
Amazing view and sound in Toronto, I can never get enough from the views of Toronto, A great city tour ❤Definitely will visit there in the near future!
I miss it. I used to walk this route (more or less) daily from 2008-2016 before and after work. Our office moved after that, but I still did walk it maybe once every other week up until when the lockdown in March 2020.
I think I saw a drone video at the beginnng of the pandemic where the streets were totally empty. Nice to see some life to it again. Thanks for the video.
Its been along time since I did this trek. I use to go Northbound from Union in the Path to The Hudsons Bay exit, sometimes I would make it to bloor, sometimes I would just go East or West wherever and Explore. Nice Video !!
Thanks for taking me along your walk ..you passed by my daughter..thank you very much
Yess busy streets in downtown excite me! Great video
Thanks for uploading this video. I used to live in Toronto from 2017-18. Yonge steet and Dundas is my favorite place.
I reall miss that time when summer and autumn comes. It was amazing
Thanks for this video enjoy, as I always enjoy Yonge Street!
Always a pleasure to walk with you.
I miss this city badly , wish could go back there now .
Great, nice walk and video. Thanks
Nice walk, thank you so much
I’ll be visiting july 2022! Your videos have me excited !
Dollarama, LCBO, Winners, Gimpmaster - I miss them all! Interesting poster - "I Sweat For Belonging", I think a lot of people in Toronto can relate to that...I would say full reopening will happen by the end of 2022-beginning 2023..The network at work keeping people calm...Well done Johnny! Would not mind watching you having dinner on the patio somewhere - interesting perspective ..
Lines up everywhere :(
Thank you for preview 🙏🧿❤️
22:19 Dude, you know you're hopeless when Believe turns his back on you.

Nice walk Johnny cool and relaxing hope your new gadget will last you longer and you can save the other one for me 🥰
Thanks for letting us go with you to Best Buy to pick up your replacement camera. You make any walk so enjoyable because of the charisma you possess. Thanks #1Johnny
Johnny. Toronto was buzzing today (Saturday July 3rd 2021). We were in Yorkville where the atmosphere was terrific with patios packed with folk enjoying the glorious weather. Please upload another video which better reflects our fabulous city.
You just inspire me to go for a a walk today, but without that amazing camera
Thank you for sharing
I used to live in 15 Grenville. Thank you for passing by that site
Thank you for this instrumental introduction to the famous "Yonge Street" downtown area.. Certainly much grander than Winnipeg and certainly much more variety and more so, fantastically entertaining in many ways. Nothing like NY or Miami but for Canada, a huge improvement to Winnipeg lifestyle....now wondering why I TRY to live in Winnipeg. Thank you so much! Fabulously educational.
When I was last their, I stayed at The Parkdale Hostellerie really central and good for taking in the city
I walked this route for decades...loved the character...the shops, seedy places, staples like House of Lords, Morningstar, etc...now it's just depressing :( demolished to make room for tall condos.
Agreed. It's sa d.
Johnny -- My office is at College and Yonge. Thanks for reminding me what it looks like now. It's been a while.
hello
Hey bro 👋🏻 Nice Video. I’m from Cuba I’m planning to move there in the near futuro. I think is a great city. Thanks for the inspiring walk. Your videos are great they make me love Canada 🇨🇦 more & more 👌🏻
how it is the life in Cuba man? Its a nice place?
@@vancoco990 I must say NOT nowadays & never was. Cuba 🇨🇺 is a hard living place, there are several situations with food 🥘 work, electricity ⚡️ among others……. Highest degrees are the lower paid in the country. i.e. a taxi driver have better income than a PhD. My advice only come as tourist
Did you ever make it to canada?
🥰 awesome thanks Jonny 💕💕💯💯
I grew up in toronto mostly around the east end don mills and the danforth too. I was a bike courrier downtown for a few years. My whole family is from toronto . We all moved out , they think im nuts but i really miss it

22:05 wow 🤩 her confidence is everything!
Right?! I would die dressing like that downtown.. I couldn't handle the looks 😂
I mean I would be confident too if I looked like that lol. She probably is a model.
I love this place I pray for any opportunity in future I will grab it
20:00 there's Zanzibar in Yonge Street in Toronto Ontario Canada.
I found Zanzibar, that's where Abomination where is at from the movie 2008s "The Incredible Hulk" with Tim Roth.
Good video 👍 I be back on next month when I moved in my new apartment

Beautifull city. I love to visit it

Too funny!😂
Excellent🥺❤
Awesome city!
At 27:03 on the left there was a Cineplex movie theatre and that movie theatre is so fun like I have been there a few times with some friends and you get to be so high up and idk it is just fun
I went to that cineplex twice
I go there all of the time.
I used to go there all the time when I was a student and I missed the street carts.
If I could show you a way to earn up to $5000 weekly residual income with out interfering to your current job, would you take a look? 🇺🇸
*Street _cars__ is how it's pronounced, but I'm glad that you enjoyed your time here.
This was a nice walk Johnny ! Bright & bustling !
Where are the trees ? I didn't see one fucking tree . What a hell hole T.O. is . Bright and bustling ... my ass .
@@miles6593 No trees for "Miles" .. get it ? Infact, "miles" is something you probably don't get much of .. still behind a no-pic profile commenting shit.
@@jmedz893 : You can still have trees growing in a high-density urban setting .
If you had a healthy mind , then you would know that trees make the city healthier .
Nice walk ❤️👍
very nice video.
Toronto city and streets remind of Bitter Sweet Symphony song from the Verve 👍👍🏅🏅
I'd play that in the background if it didn't lead to a copyright strike lol
20:57 Jollibee!!!!
Hi Johnny , have a nice weekend ( Ali from Iraq )
I went there 20 years ago, I want to go again
You had a little Dragon Ball action there with Goku and Frieza!!!.
man looks like heaven
Wow thank you
Love from M&S Walker
Nice Video 😍
Great video! Thx for sharing
That building to the right of the scaffolding on Alexander used to be the city Morgue. They operate on a 24/7 schedule. A friend who worked there once gave me a tour of it. I think. It was supposed to be redeveloped as affordable housing and was under construction, but I am not sure if it's finished.
I’m not the most superstitious person-but I don’t think I could live at the old morgue site lol
Nice job
Now that got my attention at 22:05.
lol
Welcome, congratulations..
ha...nice. im 57 now and live in Vancouver for the last 25 years but lived in Tee Oh for 33 yrs and used to do street magic at Yonge / Bloor when I was 17. I would do a couple shows and make $20-$30. That was in the early 80's so H&M wasn't there yet as they showed up in 2004
I use to live right there near the Eaton center.
Gonna study in Canada 🙌🏽 from Nigeria 🇳🇬
u should do the underwalk pass from younge and bloor to fornt st
I love this place..
I live here and I think because I have lived here for my whole life I don’t see what other people see like I think I don’t see anything so amazing 😂
That Winners is the busiest one in the entire GTA by sales.
Johnny, I wish there was a way for your videos to be searchable by #patios. Basing some of my reservations on what I see in your outings.
WOW This used to be the route i walked back and forth everydays
Nice video
VERY GOOD
Do a walk our way at 103 Queensway and high park area!!
I wish I was there walking and wandering
Will be coming very soon I love Canada 🍁
Lovely city
Johnny, thanks for making the videos on osmo pocket series. Did you ever update the pocket 2 to firmware 1.03.00.10 which was an update for low temperature focus correction? If yes, how did it behave after the update? One more question. Did you try using quality mode in d cinelike at night low light on street? If yes, did you get the blurry stretchy footage/ghosting effect. What is your views on it?
Thanks again. Waiting for your response.
I've updated my firmware and it does help with the focus. I don't use d cinelike so I can't really comment on that. Cheers
Good one
ace johnny
Any recommend editing apps because I'm going to do gaming vids and I need a app were I can have a facecam?
I use Powerdirector but Resolve is a great (and more powerful) free one.
Feels like Yonge street is just like first avenue in Manhattan, beautiful city
thats right i have been in manhatan no in canada but i will sometime
Its lame here. Vancouver way better.
@@ShadeRaven222 I might have to look into ...is more vibrant .u might like Lima
Looking forward in the stage 2 reopening. Enjoy it while we can lol
especially with such nice weather like this :)
22:18 Been in Toronto 10 years ago. The guy with the Bible has been standing there...
Hello Ive been watching your videos. Toronto is a city I've fascinated by for years. I became more fascinated when I read an article where it was featured as one of the best cities to visit without an itinerary.
What would your opinion be on that. What would your suggestions be for visiting Toronto for a visit time visitor. I would seriously consider visiting Toronto over new York London or Paris because those cities are just too overwhelming.
I'd say just stay somewhere close to downtown and show up with no itinerary, there's plenty here. Cheers!
That woman at 29:42 startled me lol
