+Megan Penn but that's the problem on youtube ... people try to get away with not crediting the original creator by using terms like "I found this on the internet" or "this has been getting a lot of requests". How did Ann find the original creator?? I guess she probably spent about 1 minute googling it. It's really not that hard to do the right thing!!!
To y'all haters accusing Ann of copying the idea, your comment has been posted by someone else somewhere else on the internet. Someone else could copyright you for copying their idea. Ridiculous, right? That's my point.
What I think sets yous apart from other baking channels is that you explain the hows and whys. I was going to ask you why you were using black fondant (might be obvious to anyone else, but unfortunately not me) but then a few beats later you explain why.
So thank you Anne for always créating and sharing delicious, beautiful and informative videos.

People of been doing unicorn things on CZcams for years. When I first saw this it looked like something straburry17 made years ago in a unicorn drink. All of our favorite Disney movies are based on the same 10 stories just told in different ways. As a disabled mom who has a mild sun allergy also I applaud you never missing a video in 5 years

Maybe to help you could've explained the origins of this cake in the intro better so people would stop accusing you of stealing from Rosanna Pansino when it's clear to some of us that you absolutely didn't. Yep, that's what I normally do but as this cake design is literally everywhere on pinterest and instagram and even youtube (prior to ro) I put the credit and link in the recipe post and the top comment. Because it is an actual link it is more beneficial for the creator as they get more people clicking through and following them. This cake has already been done by lots of youtubers so I am not sure why the uproar over this video. Give it another week and people will settle down, there are way more important things going on in the world.

People need to understand that you viewers watch a lot of these shows. You make requests on all of them to make a certain type of cake. When they get a ton of requests for this specific cake, they make it, not knowing that the other channels are going to do it too, because you guys have begged for it there, too. If you don't want several channels to make similar cakes, don't ask for it from every channel. Rosanna's fans get rabid when anyone does anything like what she has done. They need to realize that she just follows trends, too. She gets ideas from her comment section, too. She gets ideas from other channels, too. Everyone is influenced by something. There are very few original ideas left. People need to ease up, back off, and work on maturity and tact.

This woman doesn't deserve the hate she is having. Of course many people did it first but do you know why many baker are still making if people have already made it ? It's bc each bakers style is slightly different than others, that their signature, it might not show through the design but the small details but that's what make them each so friggin unique. When Ann had to explain it through a community post I was shocked, she is really not the kind of person who mind the haters but to think that people took it to the point that she had no other choices, I am horribly disappointed in this community, she's a mother, a wife and a youtuber for fuck sake, she doesn't have to upload videos every week for us but she still does, she doesn't have to come up with new things for us but she still fucking does, BE GRATEFUL.

I made a cake like this for my niece's 4th birthday this weekend, and now I'm kinda mad that I didn't see this video first, because the stars and colored stripes at the bottom are such cute ideas! I put a slinky and some little MLP toys (wrapped in plastic wrap) in the middle instead of candies, which absolutely made me the Coolest Aunt Ever

Anne has always tried to credit people who invent creative, new recipes. In her other videos you will see she even goes through the trouble of visiting their businesses to film the original technique. Artists inspire one another. That is why there have been entire movements with groups of people creating work in the same style throughout history. In any case, people are not perfect. We all make mistakes. We should not forget that hundreds of complaints can feel like a kind of cyber bullying. Anne went through the trouble of researching where the original idea came from and shared that with us. I feel she has done more than most youtubers.
