- The GSOR 1010 is the first British wheeled medium tank inside World of Tanks, and it's incredibly weird and confusing to play! In this video, I will be going through what I think about the tank after a few initial games and speaking through the strength and weaknesses about the tank.

The insanely good reverse speed is a big plus that i don't think is mentioned enough. Very useful in engagements.

I really love this tank, its a mix between a light tank and a tank destroyer imo which is really unique

camo is a feature in this game, it is being used as a balancing factor not a logical stat on a tank ( not that they are getting it right most of the time:). but comparing it with G is a good way to look at this tank. i agree, it needs something to make it appear in the MM, lets say in 2 months. as it is, it will be forgotten rather fast. i'd say, leave the reload, but up the alpha would also be a way to go, like on mant for example. it that case you could kinda drop the DPM setup and use something else, 'cause you would need to stay hidden in any case. no need to reload in 9 sec to wait to get unspotted for extra 2-3 sec.
It's so, so big. Look at it compared to other tanks during the countdown. Only slightly better camo than the Super Pershing. At least they left room for buffs.
Can you imagine, if W.G. hadn't backtracked on demounting bond equipment for free, everyone would now be racing around with Turbo, I.R.M., and Hardening every battle, (not just on selected tanks) which most of us would not have had access to a while ago. Thank God for balanced tanks with problems
Personally, I like it the way it is, aside from the hull traverse and relatively low shell velocity. It has better gun handling than an SConq, which is wild at tier 8, so the gun is super consistent. I found the best way of playing it is similar to a Leopard, where you can do some sniping and you can make some cheeky plays especially with that reverse speed.
I ended up loving this tank because of its weirdly specific playstyle. I use rammer, stabs and vents (all bounty) + food and vent directive (to get 445VR)
Edit: I found the reload time to be in sort of a sweet spot because you really don't want to be spotted for more than 10 seconds considering the size, armor and low HP.
I play this tank as a hybrid between a light and a TD, works quite well.
I think it's a good balanced tank. Any more traverse speed or reverse speed, it'll be an EBR all over again.
all they need now is to rebalance the pay to win garbage tanks like the BZ, this tank is a good direction when it goes to balancing
I found it to be enjoyable with a Turbo in the mobility slot, bounty Vents and Bond rammer + directive + food.
This makes it pretty fast in a straight line and with an almost insane reverse speed of 33 km/h, much like a muscle car, with a 9,12 seconds reload which is pretty good.
I am looking forward to the tech tree wheelies as I am guessing they will be slightly better.
Wonder why people told max to play this thing as a scout. So far I have almost never saw any player use it as such, and any who tried to do it usually just die miserably fast lmao.

I feel like it doesn't have enough. The gun is good but you can't really push flanks and be aggressive because it's huge and with 0 armour. Speed is good but the turning speed makes it seem sluggish and awkward. Not too excited about the line if the premium is like this. Hopefully they surprise me and make the tech tree better.

I guess it's because the shell cost and repair are still rather high in comparison?
Another tank with 360 alpha like GSOR 1010 that easily come to mind in the tech tree is UDES 14 5, and the shell cost on that standard tank is merely 680/shell, while GSOR 1010 sits on roughly 1020/shell.

It's a light with no camo yet gets paired against Bourrasques.
The best way to describe it is a way to buy bond equipment. If you buy it twice you get 6814 in gold compensation, + crew + camo + credits + 1500 gold, and 10 anniversary coins so you can get bond turbo and bond rotation
I got bond turbo but my mind is still on bond irm. It would be very good on my skorpion
@@favorius I don't play ranked or clan battles, so this was my only chance to get it. Try bounty equipment for a while until you are absolutely sure, because 200 bonds to move it is a big hit! The T103 also has bad turret traverse, but good hull traverse, but I stuck it on the TL-7 because otherwise it only goes in a straight line
its a Damage output tank, that focus on sniper and support role, However, the size of the tank and turning speed making it hard to close range fight specially regarding to no armor. u have to look at the effective DPM compare to actully DPM on paper. Next point is u need to make room for yourself around the map and keep a distance with ur target until certain point. so for equitment, boost ur cmao rating with around 35 moving cmao rating allow u to relocated comforatblelly. and boost ur dpm with rammer and vents.

Can you do the handbrake trick while max-traversing for turning in that tank? The trick in full speed of not holding the W button and pressing the handbrake momentarily, while also pressing A/S. Coz damn that base traverse is god awful for a big hut tank.

I got it and I must say I like it 😊 even though my winrate is 28% on this car 😮 avg dmg 2k... but somehow like it.
Does this tank maybe need to be set up with HP mod, rotation device and rammer? Seems like vstab isn't needed, hp will stop you getting slowed so much, rotation device should help tank traverse slightly. I dunno.
Turbo, rammer and vents. By far best loadout which i have tried. Give it try
First time seeing your channel and I've subscribed. I like this tank because I am a shitbarn player so I just 1 shot it and it's nearly impossible to miss it because it's massive 😂
Reliability is king imo. For that reason I like this tank!
Try playing STG. 2.23 aim time, 12.5 sec reload with ONLY 30 points higher alpha. Slow moving, need to constant travers cos gun is at the back of tank. No chance to hit on the move, no gun depression. No chance to hit when moving turret like GSOR does. So if u want GSOR to reload 1 sec. faster then STG should reload 3 sec faster, considering all above. Thanks !

The TL-7 has the same direction change sluggishness, but I.R.M. cures that. I am not sure it will work on wheeled vehicles though
unfortunately IRM does not fix it
360 alpha on tier 8 tanks is the sweet spot, but my Renegade has 8 second reload. 9.8 seconds to reload a 360 alpha shell is kinda too long.
gsor can play as scout if use camo fieldmod and low noise but you pay with lower dpm
Even with that, you don't get enough Camo to be a true scout.

it does not. A single tire gets popped and your speed is slower than a slug.
GSOR 1010 damage modeling is certainly not like the French clown cars! You slow to a crawl, can't turn in less than 100 feet, and it just becomes an easier target to kill. Even if you repair the tire damage it takes forever to get back up to speed. And then you lose another tire because no one can miss this chonky tank.

I haven't actually played the game, and don't even know what it's about if I am honest. I was trying, and succeeded, to get 2 marks on the Chieftain before the nerfs happened to it in the next patch on stream, as well as just taking some time off from making videos.
This tank needs better camo and turning speed so that the gun actually can be more useful, for now due the mediocre camo you really need the low noise system so that you wont be spotted early and get killed lol

Yes, that reduces your XP and credits a LOT.
the reason i feel its so bad is cuz ever since wg ate alot of poo for the bz and lion,every reward and premium tank after that has been extremly mid,even the kpz isnt something special imo,so i just feel like they are afraid of making tanks good so they just make smtn cuz they have to

Origianlly they looked a bit dissapointing, but they've recently been buffed on the supertest and they are looking better now

Skill also noticed shitty credit making potential, not only you
big size but no hp, slow acceleration, absurd turning, below average camo, below avg. dpm, suffers ramming or contact a lot, suffers arty a lot.
As far as I see on YT videos, GSOR has MUCH better gun than Skorpion. Skorpion is ... derpy.
Skorpion has a much nicer gun than this.
