Red was the same against green.
Green almost killed Red so many times in the beginning.
Cyan was doing much better when it was split into two territories - one focused on defending the core and a roaming assassination squad. As soon as it joined back up I knew it was over.
Green was first more time than cyan by being splitted and lasted more time joined lost because red was beside with all it's marbles when green had half marbles very far of it's base
It absolutely was not! Cyan was basically left trying to defend its core with a skeleton crew, while half its marbles did jack shit in the centre section! There were so many close calls with Orange and Pink getting way too close to Cyan's core. Cyan was first to lose squares on its core and second to die. Yes, they were first in squares for a while, but in this mode that means nothing. Even if they managed to assassinate Yellow, it wouldn't have really helped them. So no, I knew it was over for Cyan when those balls got cut off from their home base and they couldn't clear a path back. They eventually made a path, but that only succeeded in making more marbles split off from the core defence.
Yeah. In this game you do t want to get too big until much later in the game

I like the rogue agents. The marbles that get behind enemy lines and just stay there causing trouble. Special ops marbles.

I though of the middle as Africa bc everyone was colonizing at the beginning and during the middle kept switching who was in charge of what land

Well done team red. for a moment when the purple got trapped next to reds core, i thought for sure red were gonna lose.
but i didn't see the elite task force of red marbles attacking the purples core all at once for victory. (had to rewind video to see what actually happened)

I was looking at it thinking "can he kill either if he is attacking two at once" and then red killed em both. Man, the end was red balls stomping the others. Even the magenta breaking physics on 12:29 did not change the outcome.
Red marbles were a genius by splitting and attacking Yellow and Green.Because of that red was dominating 50 percents of the area.Respect!

As I watched I realized that all the colord with easy access to the center were doomed. Their colors are at the easy angle to lose their defense and end up getting destroyed.
Was cheering for green the whole time, anyways, because it put up a great fight, and survived longer than any other corner colors. It was only a matter of time, unfortunately...

I think the strat would be to have one or two ‘island’ balls marauding, while the majority defend the base in as tight of a space as possible.

This game is fascinating, as having more territory can be extremely detrimental, if the shape of your territory is not defensive - EG: poor poor cyan, rest in peace.
I was surprised the cyan wasn't the first to die, considering how quick it expanded and how tough its terrirory became to defend.

That ending was so close! Did you see how close the color was to the other colors core? If the other color didn’t have 6 immediately go straight to the core, they would have lost! Congratulations to both colors, that was the most intense color race thingy i’ve ever seen.

Red was so clutch the entire game. Every time it was being invaded, it would fend off and protect home base.
Red had tendency to create "parasites" - singular balls encircled in hostile colors that rapidly ricochet around their "cage" and never venture too far, thus potentially eroding an entire hexagon segment, slowly but surely. These can't be dealt with unless
A) their native spawner is destroyed
B) the "parasite" is returned to its own territory
C) the "parasite" latches onto another color's territory (temporary solution)
In my opinion, that's what won them the day.

I just randomly picked Pink to cheer for right from the start. Man would never have thought I'd be this invested in a random number generator lol :D the way one single Pink ball defended against the red onslaught at the end and then the Pink assassination being one faction of a second late.. ah man :D

Cyan was under permanent attack from both Orange and Pink the entire time, I'm surprised they survived as long as they did

Red's double kill, eliminating both yellow and lime, was the most dastardly marble thing I've seen. I knew pink stood no chance if they were to face red.

I was aiming for cyan and yellow, magenta was a menace to both of them at some point, yet i aimed for him at the end to avenge his fallen archenemies. For me he was a villain at the beginning but died like a true hero at the end.
I like how around 9:00 the ranks were exactly counter-clockwise

Light blue resisted anihilation the most intensely. The best climax was there. Orange cut the supply lines and reinforcements while pink tries to take the capital.
I had to watch Blue just squeak by without dying for a long time before he just died anyway.
