    So while we have the regular humans that are pretty much around the same size as humans on Earth, we have the Kul'Tirans that are literally 8 feet tall with the build of a strongman and really they almost seem like a different species that can rival an orc.
    Covering the history of Kul'Tiras, the drust and the ancient vrykul origins I discuss my theories and speculations on why are Kul'Tirans so big.

    Covering what we know and my theories why Kul'Tirans are almost twice the size of humans? What do you guys think?

    • @MrLolguy93
      @MrLolguy93 Před 4 lety +4

      My guess is that there is some Drust blood in them. We can also add the geography in the equation. Though I herd that Drust weren't complete Vrykul, but are between Vrykul and Human. The closest comparison in my mind are the Norsca from Warhammer. They are still human and if we ignore the mutations from Chaos, only slightly taller and more muscular.
      Edit: Besides WoW forums, can you give me some suggestions on where to discuss potential future races and expansions? So we might even suggest them to the WoW dev team, if not just ask them

      Pretty much the same you mentioned in the video, but there are people that when told these theories they just go "lmao humans can be tall too" and like... yes, but these differences aren't usually as drastic as the KT vs Normal Human ones. Then again, the fact that blizz admitted that they just wanted another body type does give the vrykul theory less ground to stand on sadly.

    • @shadowgamer4306
      @shadowgamer4306 Před 4 lety +2

      Doronsmovies They are almost twice the size of humans because blizzard wanted to include different body types in the game so that every body type is equally represented.

      This is exactly what my own headcanon is. Just figured they had interbred with the Drust.

    • @Samuel-ht7dp
      @Samuel-ht7dp Před 4 lety

      It's definitely not the interbreeding, Blizzard debunked that in an interview some time ago.
      And honestly, I'd love to see normal size Kul Tirans added so that I could play a human druid and not have to be a big guy.

    Didnt blizz say Kultirans aren't bigger in lore ? the just wanted more variations between the two in game races thus the difference in scale.

    Makes sense. Drust are evolved Vry'kul that evolved on Kul'tiras or whatever it was called before. So maybe what evolved them also evolved the Humans into something larger. The Kul'tirans could very well be humans reverting somewhat back to their Vry'kul genetic makeup. The Thornspeakers could have helped them in this since the druids are known for shape shifting and altering physiology.

    As a Vrykul maniac, I’ve been obsessed with the Drust since we first heard about them. I’m excited for more of them in Ardenweald, though I would love to know what they’re original form looked like.

  • @HavocHounds1988
    @HavocHounds1988 Před 4 lety +3

    I agree, I think they are so large due to breeding with the friendly Drust {aka Thornspeakers.} Ulfar after all is a full blown Drust, and probably one of the only ones that is still alive.

    My take on it is that eat fish (because they are islanders in mid ocean), and fish protein can make you fat if overused
    Everything over 30 g of protein per day human body will store as reserves (science facts), as it doesn't process more proteins for muscle and things repair, thus...they, Kultiran, are like that
    Plus they are tall like that cause of good nutrition from same damm fish

    • @Lordturisas1
      @Lordturisas1 Před 25 dny

      Your body utilizes a lot more than 30g of protein per day.

    The thing about not wanting to play the Kul Tirans as an allied race I don't think is a reason. They were not originally planned as an allied race, they were only made one due to how many people really liked them and wanted them to be playable. I think they just wanted the idea of the Kul Tirans being hunters of monstrous creatures to be shown so they made them behemoths of humans.

    Wrong, wrong, all wrong. Y'see. Kul'Tran's were *SPECIFICALLY* designed by the father's of Blizzard. These dad's were sick of playing male Goblins and Dwarves, they needed something new. Something that encapsulated their hunky dad bod's. Alongside that, these dashing men of culture designed the female models to meet their levels of thiccness appropriate for the company. We've never truly had an extra thicc race amongst Azeroth before.
    But thanks to the Dad's of Blizzard, we have our dreams finally coming true.
