Believe in the oneness of the Creator, and that it's our duty is to worship Him, believe that he sent Prophets and Prophet Muhammad is the last of the Prophets, belief that He sent revelation to people and Quran is the final revelation, belief that he created angels and belief that there will be a time where we, the creation, will be judged and there will be eternal life after that and that Allah knows our destiny. All Muslims have this basic belief. There are differences in 'furoohi' things. We belief as long as the basic beliefs are there, the person is a Muslim, as long as the 'stem' is there, the differences don't take one out of the fold of Islam.
@@wentlandchris there are sects or subgroups in islam that differ on the smaller more "trivial" so to speak aspects of the religion. But as long as one maintains their belief in the core pillars of Islam, then they're a muslim. It doesnt matter of you're a Shafi'i or Hanbali or Hanafi or Salafi or Sufi or whatever, all of those are muslims all the same.

This made me cry out of happiness Alhamdelillah...sheikh uthman is very unique in the way he connects with people and gives dawah may Allah swt strengthen him and all the brothers and sisters that give correct islamic dawah ameen. I love this guy. He didn't shout, he speaks calmly, he lets Uthman finish his words, and he actually seems interested in listening to Uthman. Mr Kirk in the begining still sure about Jesus being literal son of God, but Syeikh Uthman brought the fact that Jesus not the only one called the son of God in the bible must hit him hard.
But i am happy for you Mr Kirk, that you not cover your heart and hide from the truth like some of Christians usually do, instead you sincerely accept that all phrophets sent by God are brougth the same message, that only worship The Creator not the creation.
