All that destroyed the morale of the defending players. They would be thinking if he could beat 4-5 players in the blink of an eye, what could he do if he is allowed a little bit of space. Also, his crossing is fantastic, his finishing insane so all he needs is a moment and he can score left-footed volley ffs. You are not being serious if you really think all that is for nothing. It drew at least 4 players to him and he released the ball after dummying, so it was absolutely in good interest of his team as well.
