  • I wanted to see if sublimation would work for the Cricut infusible ink coasters. In this video I tested out three different methods. I will show you how I do each one and which method I prefer.

    hi there! I recently made cricut coasters for the first time and used their settings with the easy press. The only thing I did differently was that I taped the coaster to the design like you did with the heat press. They came out perfectly!

      @@TheCraftyBrick I hope you get more! I always try to give something when someone provides useful info or is entertaining. You helped me out with the coaster info. Keep posting. I used to give to charities like buying Girl Scout cookies or whatever beggars came by. Then I decided I am stopping with that and giving to people who are actually doing things and working for a living!

    Did the easy press shift the paper, because you didn't tape it?

    Have you tried it with the design facing top but for a little longer than 45 seconds? So curious!

      @TheCraftyBrick  Před 2 lety

      Hey there! Yes I have. It actually works much better with the design facing up and I have had success doing 60 seconds.

    Great video explaining these different methods. Can you heat press say 4 coasters at once, or should you do them one at a time?

      I’m so glad you found it helpful! Yes you could definitely do them all at once.

    My image came out blurry on some parts, any idea what could have affected this?

      I could be that the paper wasn’t taped on tight enough

      Thank you so much for the link. I had so much fun looking at the various items listed. Got more ideas on what could be done with sublimation. I think I'm going to have to bite the bullet very soon. I hope you will do more videos on sublimation. You have a great teaching style!
