- ►Nick Rekieta went over part 4 of Vic Mignogna's Deposition last night, which consisted of Vic calling out Chris Sabat. He stated that believes that Chris Sabat (Voice of Vegeta) doesn't like him and he may have had a hand in getting him fired from Funimation. Vic also explained that Chris has a lot of power at Funimation, which is no secret by now.
►This is the final part of Vic's deposition, so I would assume that the rest of the depositions will all be about Monica Rial, Jamie Marchi, and Ron Toye. Considering Vic's deposition was much stronger than Monica and Ron's, it will be interesting to see how the rest of this lawsuit plays out. If i remember correctly, THIS particular rumor started because he refused to sign some yaoi for a fan who got enraged.
I mean, it's his RIGHT. Besides, we don't know if it was light yaoi or straight-up porn. If he doesn't wanna sign that, it's his right.
I think he said he doesn't want to sign anything that isn't canonical Period.

He said something about not being allowed to sign non licensed products at some point. I wouldn't doubt that, Funimation probably had some stipulations about that.
I saw some people talking about contracts, which it could be, but even if that wasn't the case if he doesn't want to sign porn (which it could have been) or sexual content he doesn't have too. I personally am very much on the asexual spectrum myself so if I was presented something similar hetero or not, id also decline. Not because Id care who was with who.

The story keeps changing. Vic’s heart looks like it is about to break while reading/listening. He sees just how much Monica really hated him between her mocking his email and the ‘story’.
The pure joy from the lawyer mentioning Dragon Ball Super: Broly, and he choked up, not because of how much it broke the box office, but because he'd been apart of the entire series and THAT Character for a decade and change, and for the character to have that much love and for him to have that much respect for sticking to his role for this long and see it all come to flourishing, he felt honored privileged and blessed. Lawyer REALLY tried to make it look like he did it for money 😏

You can't not love Vic, he's probably the most grounded and professional actor I've seen, he's not stupidly positive and he's not blindly negative, he's just a balance of both, even though Vic wasn't even close to being my favourite voice actor at the time, but after hearing everything he quickly became my favourite while many others were thrown under the bus, if I had the time I would make an edit where the main characters who were voiced by the guys on KickVic get replaced by the Japanese voice actors and the only English Voice Actors left are either those who I don't know are on KickVic or were completely uninvolved to begin with.
I like how he didn’t hesitate to name Chris Sabat, but was hesitate to name others. I guess he didn’t feel as strongly against the others.
I’m disappointed about J Michael Tatum and Colleen Clinkenbeard. I knew J was on the fence but I didn’t know he fully joined the anti-Vic. I heard Vic and Colleen were still on good terms so this really sucks.

Thats how cross-examinations are always done. Lawyers are supposed to ask pointed questions and the question isnt answered directly it is a "non-response". If Vic actually answered the question and the opposing lawyer tried to object, the judge would overrule. There is literally not a single cross-examination where it doesnt happen like that so dont be dramatic

He did answer the questions though. A non-response in a legal case is either giving an answer not relating to a question or evading a question all together. When did Vic do either of these? I mean, sure, some of his answers could be interpreted as being not relating in some way, but thats mostly the deposers fault. When youre asked questions that have no basis in fact but the deposer wants it to seem like there is, how are you supposed to be able to answer them "correctly" without lying?
The fact that Lemoine is saying "objection, non-responsive" after nearly every answer Vic gives should throw up red flags for anybody. Nothing "dramatic" about it at all.

It was almost always when he asked a specific question and Vic answered in a tangent or anecdote. The objection would be overruled if it wasn't fair. I can only imagine how internally destroyed and hurt Vic is. To be betrayed by friends you knew...I remember I was mugged by people I thought were my friends in school when I was younger. One day I walked into my animation class to hear other students talking about the scandal
I firmly believed he did nothing wrong and that it was a huge misunderstanding
But their stories made me feel uncomfortable for two reasons
1. the possiblity of Vic not being the passionate person I saw him as
2. Someone would go through the lengths to defame someone as beloved as him
I've looked around, did research, watched other's research (because I didn't get anywhere)
watched a shit ton of youtubers with both sides of the argument
So eventually I came to my own conclusion that Vic was innocent
I'm not a very vocal person, so when I eventually did bring about the possibility of Vic's innocence, I was called a Nazi Sympathiser

I remember reading bits and pieces about this in 2020 but I didn’t know until watching this today that Monica’s allegations stemmed all the way back to 2007…. Not tryna be a victim shamer but why did she wait conveniently until Vic was back working on a big DB film is when she finally spoke out…. Also i heard her speak about the situation on a podcast awhile back and she was suprisingly laughing and joking about it while slamming Vic.
