@@Hellothere-by4ye yep. It was insane, had to be patient, not sure how many tries but it took me a while. It was part of a masochist challenge of beating gow1, 2 and 3 on hardest modes. 3 was pretty insane as well, i ended hating zeus fucking last fight haha

@@n_word_gaming they all have sections that are insanely hard, is a matter of patience. In gow2 i remember when you have to force some dudes to read some tablets, that part is a fucking nightmare in titan.

In the first 2 games, I had a hard time with Medusa. It took me a while to beat her. But I didn't have a hard time with Ares. And I actually beat Zeus on the first try.
I forget that this game has damn near no real bosses in it. Just a fuck ton of really cool puzzles and challenges
There's little elements games can do that make playing feel so much better, and God of Wars just-guard against a formidable hit is just fantastic feeling with that sound effect.

I remember getting jumpscared by the two hydras at the beginning because the way they just pop out out of nowhere while you're trying to look for a chest or progress into the ship and that big hydra is just terrifying

The first time I had to fight the Hydra. I was so nervous, it took me 10 minutes to work up the nerve to climb up and fight it
I spent 20 minute to defeat ares, but you can beat ares in less than 8 minute, you're good at playing game.

I forgot how crazy the sound design was for the Hydra roar! This mightve been around the time game developers were developing for surround sound experiences to have heightened feedback.
Pretty convenient for someone to put a mechanism in the minotaurs boss room that is good at killing it. Its almost like they were ASKING for someone to breach the temple and get pandoras box lol
