Villefranche-Sur-Mer, Cote d' Azur's most beautiful fishing village

Villefranche-Sur-Mer is a tiny colourful fishing village in Cote d Azur region of France. Nearest airport would be Nice and from there, it can easily be reached by bus or train- 11 minutes by train and 15 minutes by bus. It's location is pretty central [and very pretty] for day trips to other Cote d Azur villages and cities. It is between Nice and Monaco and in between are the amazing villages of Eze, Cap Jean Ferrat and Menton farther down.
We went off season -February, so the towns were all very quiet. Not most restaurants and shops were open, but the plus side was...also less crowd. It was so nice walking the old town and the seaside without the throng of tourists.
We stayed at La Regence as we were on a budget but it was pretty decent. If money is not an object there's Welcome Hotel which was right in front of the harbour.

Love the pastel buildings. We explored nearby Cap-Ferrat when we stayed in Nice but unfortunately missed this lovely village. It looked to be very quiet when you were there. Thank you for showing it to us. The food really looked lekker!

Cap Ferrat is lovely also. We visited Villa Ephrusi. February is dead in cote d azur, the only month we could afford😊
