    Thanks, had the same problem, switched the channel and power switches. Also, I was able to fix the damaged switch. The contacts needed cleaning (a bit of isopropyl alcohol and a needle/toothpick did the job). It’s somewhat like doing neurosurgery though as the components inside the switch are about 1mm in their largest dimension. Took me an hour but got it to work.

    Great vid. Just did the same thing but I think now the microphone is draining the battery when its turned off. Do you think its a faulty switch? I ordered it from the same place you did. It looks really high quality. I appreciate your help.

    So probably its the switch...mine just gets heat up on one of the two ic's on the circuit board..i was about to take off the metal thing with ET24.000 printed on it.i thought it was the frequency chip...really gotta find some infos..

    I know exactly what you mean. Its like letting people know you work on cars or computers. Suddenly you get all the automotive questions or virus infected computers to work on. Its best not to let people know you work on these things.
    On a side note, you really need to invest in a digital caliper for measure.
