ASEAN is a group of similar nations at least in terms of economies, SAARC is not. India is a way bigger nation in terms of land, economy, stability and population. In such case IND will only loose in any such cooperation unless it is given its due credit.
It is opportunity time for India to be the South Asian Leader..If correct steps taken we can become a major power next decade
