Have you ever thought of improvising?
Even if your'e not looking to be a jazz player, some basic improv fundamentals can go a very long to helping you achieve that "point of difference" to help you achieve your goals. All music is based on harmony, and improv is, of course, mostly about harmony. It really does help to assist in your overall awareness of what you're playing.
I made a well viewed clip a while back on getting started. Take a peek here:

Real Gold 🤗😚🤗
Very enjoyable.
Very nice writing! (and playing). I'll get a copy for my group. The audiences will love it.
Hope you've been getting some good use from it.
Really, really, really good, man!
Congrats!
I played drumset on this at the end of Easter Service yesterday as a postlude. You could include an optional drumset part in the arrangement.
Glad that you were able to use it Brad, and great that you added drums to it.
The classiest version I've come across. Could use some percussion for that extra push to take it home. But well done.🤙❤️❤️❤️
Thats really kind of you to say. Thanks very much 🙂
Really enjoyed that but would have liked to see the band players.
Thanks Jack. Yes, I agree. Unfortunately time and technology go the better of me. I did manage one where I filmed the members of "All Blues" if you can find that.czcams.com/video/IupCJFayP5w/video.html
