As soon as I saw her pictures as Queen of Iran, I could see how sad and depressed she looked, I can always recognize it in anybody. But then when she married for love in Egypt, the light was back in her eyes, her face was alive again. It's amazing to me how glamourized having Royal titles is when all we keep seeing over and over is that it's really not what you want as a woman. It's easier for men because there's way less pressure and they get to make their own rules once they become king with no rhyme or reason.

Thank you so much! As an Iranian i LOVED watching this! Could you please do more on the Iranian empresses? Mohammad reza shah’s second wife divorced him to pursue an acting career (sorayah escandiari-bakhtiari) and his last wife, Farah Diba is also a bright and beautiful woman who has done a lot for iran and iranians and continues to do so. Although iran wasn’t a up and coming country, and it was as lavish as Egypt, due to having oil, mines, and caviar amongst many other things that the exported. I really appreciate what you said about her views on iran, not too sure how a princess could possibly break a vase over another’s head though, but iran was actually a lot more open than Egypt at the time. I had heard of her struggles with depression, that was the reason why she wanted a divorce, but I appreciate your insight at the end. Reza shah was a brutal man, but he wasn’t a monster. the countries continued to have a great relationship, both the king and his father are buried the king because of the Islamic revolution, and his father because of the coup that overthrew him… but hearing about how she was suffering from depression broke my heart 😢

Stunning in every sense of the word. Both Muslim men and women are remarkable for their exceptional good looks as I have noticed over the years. Check the eyebrows and the lovely lashes these people possess. When you see someone with drop-dead gorgeous looks, you just can't peal your eyes away from them. She was compared in her time more with Vivian Leigh. They were very similar in their looks, and regarding the culture she said the extreme opposite to her daughter ( her 2nd daughter from her 2nd Egyptian husband) she didn't leave Iran because it was too strict, it wasn't at the Shah's time, The Iranian royal family; pretty much like the Egyptian royal one, were French educated, she left because it was too open and I think she hinted that she was constantly jealous & felt that there were other women in the Shah's life, which she couldn't tolerate, both her and the Shah were too different people in personalities, and both were again happily married after they divorced, though their poor first daughter had to be left behind in Iran because she's a daughter of a king and not allowed to live in a host country, until eventually both families were thrown out of power in their countries and ended up in exile anyway.
