Looked like a fun time out there! At least you caught some! Much better than a skunk! Hope you both had a great time maneuvering the rapids. Great job! Appreciate you sharing and for taking us along!
Thanks for sharing your trip with us. The Buffalo River is still the most beautiful river ive seen and a bucket list destination for sure! Im getting closer though. Ill be hitting up LBL and the Cumberland River this summer. Cant wait!
Thanks for watching! Its definitely worth the trip. That’s going to be awesome. That’s on my bucket list. Report back when you hit the Cumberland. Safe paddle and tight lines!
I think I was there the same weekend! We floated Ponca to Kyle's Landing that Friday. One of the couples with me have the same tandem kayak as well. They just bought it and had not had any time in it. So they didn't handle rapids sections nearly as well as y'all did. Needless to say, my buddy and his wife had their marriage tested that day LOL. I fished and only caught one smally, but he was a good sized fish. I can't wait to go back.
We just missed yall then. We were there Saturday. Ha! Tandems and canoes are divorce makers. lol Nice! I caught about 10 or so micro smallies. Not worth posting. I was trying to get that nice one like you got. They are definitely in there if you have time to drag stuff on the bottom more.
It does great. I had it loaded out and it performed well. Super stable! I wouldn’t want to drag it much in shallow water loaded with gear, but if you have a foot or so you are good.
@@Itchin2Fish The Crew would be great on the Current or Jacks fork rivers. Especially now that they're all up with the recent rains. The river I really want to do a long float on is the Eleven Point.
You losing the paddle had me howling!
lol, almost pulled a hamstring on that run.
That river is beautiful

Awesome stuff, dude
It’s not every day that you get to chase a paddle ✌🏻🤙🏻
You got that right!
Still need to make it down there and float the Buffalo gorgeous river.
It’s worth the trip for sure. Tight lines!
Nice video of a great float. I've been eyeing the big Cresent to use for river camping in the Ozarks. It looked like it handled the job well.
