I was waiting for this video. I got this cam in Jan from AliExpress. I am not able to connect this with my phone. Pls make a detailed video on same. Also with waterproof case u can't connect external mic, let me know how will u use on helmet mount with external mic. Thnx for the information.
Once you switch on wifi of the camera, you need to connect your phone to camera's wifi.
Once done, open the Roadcam app and click on akaso v50x. You will see the viewfinder for camera.
How much you paid for this ? Is there any custom duty for the purchase... How much time it takes to delivered?? @chandresh
@@ravichoudhary_tech yes had to pay 3k for customs in mumbai. But some States customs r not charged if u r lucky. Paid 6k for cam with external mic. These customs in mum port r very smart ass, they googled the product price and charged proper charges. Took one month for delivery.

Bro, i guess you took cam way long back.. your firmware says as Aug, and my recent one says nov. Can the Eis image cropping be rectified in future by firmware or cant it be done?? The Flyover must be belandur to marathahalli.. r8?
Hey Rajesh, correct it is bellandur flyover.
The cropping in is a bit too much which helps to achieve EIS even a little better than gopro, so I don't think they are going to do anything about it. You can use a chest strap to counter this issue.
I'll post few more samples soon with ideas to counter this issue.

Yes, it is a pretty good camera and you can start with it.
What is gyro? Please explain
Gyro helps the camera to stabilize the footage, it tries to detect slightest to camera lens movement and sends the data to processor to maintain the stability but this is not as effective as Optical Image Stabilization.
Apart from the crop in image everything else seems nice to me.
Yes, actually everything is nice and you can record video without EIS to avoid the crop. You can keep the camera at 2k 60 fps.
At 2k 60 fps the shakes are very less and the footage can be stabilized using a software later without any quality loss. Posting another video soon on that.

I am going to use it for motovlogs. I planning to set it on the chin of the helmet. In that place if the image gets crops in the video won't look nice.
Please do arrange to post th 2K 60 FPS without EIS/Gyro video at the earliest. I would make the purchase decision based on that. Regards.

watching 3rd video and no one shows how they unmounted the camera
There are clips in the mount. You just need to press the clip and release the camera. Its just too easy and that's why no one shows that.
