Zimbabwe offers new land compensation deal to former white farmers

Having defaulted on two scheduled compensation payments to former white farmers whose lands were repossessed, Zimbabwe's government is now offering 10-year bonds to pay the bill. Compensation of white farmers is one of the critical pillars of Zimbabwe's debt clearance strategy, which will help it regain access to international credit.
