She was equally in love with Vikram... She was angry because he instantly changed his life goals where he needs to settle well to get married to her. She waited for him. The THUMBNAIL is completely wrong.
This is a real life story of Captain Vikram Batra,who made the supreme sacrifice for his motherland during Indo-Pak war in1999 , mostly know as Kargil war because it was the main mountain captured by Pakistan army. Even though pakistani army was later defeated their government didn't recognise their soldiers and doesn't receive their body by making a statement that they r all militants or terrorist.so the Indian Army does the funerals and rituals for the enemy army as we believe there is no enemity after death and also we used to be one country.

For the context of the the movie they don't have different casts but different religions girl is born in a sikh family whereas boy is a hindu but you can't understand that diversity.so you call it caste 😃😃😃

Dude probably the most selfish person i seen in a while. He lead this girl on saying how much he love her and always be together with her but chose to do all this dangerous shit and end up dead. He's a hero to his country but just a sinner to his wife. If he truly love her, he would have let her go instead of leading her on and even marrying her while choosing to do all this dangerous mission causing him to die. Literally cause his wife to remain single her whole life cause she fall in love with a selfish man.
In India Country first then family. A typical Indian woman would never leave her husband just because he is in the Army and you can't let go of your wife like that in India there is no such thing as a no-fault divorce in India.

It's a true story. Pakistanis actually left their soldiers because it was a secret operation. They were posed as terrorists. But they weren't. They were normal pakistani soldiers. And during Kargil, to avoid american and international scrutiny, pakistan denied that they were their soldiers. They later accepted after the families of the soldiers spoke up. The pakistanis are like that only. They don't really care about their own religion.

Degrading the pak army and show Muslims as potential terrorists is so common in bollywood movies. The love story was beautiful, but yes they have to disgrace pakistan and its army and glorify indian army more, so audience likes it better. Advantage taken from the hate between these countries has been huge and unfortunately it still continues to happen.
In this particular scenario, Pakistan was at fault, it did break the treaties and waged a secret war from a vantage point. It's a true event, you can't change history. Not just this, Pakistan has done some pretty horrible things in the past, you can't deny it when proof is there, Indians don't blame the general public of Pakistan but the people in charge at that time.
