Per another questioner, who did the arrangement for orchestra? I like it. It reminds me of some of Shosty's string quartets rewritten for chamber orchestra.
I don't like this for so many reasons, but I'll leave it to this: 1. The preformance seemed a little passionless. 2. Shostakovich wrote the accompaniment FOR the piano, it is a piano acccompaniment and fully brings the beauty of the piano out.
